Our trip to Tagong, Western Sichuan, found its warmest surprise in the Kangding Tagong Pokhara Smart Manor. Located in Tagong Town, the manor perfectly blends the relaxed, rustic charm of the ******* plateau with a tastefully tidy courtyard and rooms. Our deluxe sunroom was exceptionally bright, offering breathtaking views of the clear highland sky and distant mountains right from the window. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable and soothing, completely melting away the fatigue of our long road trip. What truly touched us was the genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. Every evening, they thoughtfully delivered warm milk, chasing away the chill of the highland nights. On one occasion, returning to the manor after being caught in the rain, the owner immediately brought us freshly brewed ginger tea, its warmth spreading from our tongues throughout our bodies. These thoughtful details, more than any luxurious amenities, truly resonated with us. This is far more than just a place to stay; it's a welcoming haven on our Western Sichuan journey. Should I ever return to Tagong, I will undoubtedly stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler venturing into this beautiful wilderness.

The hotel's decor is very ******* style, exquisite and beautiful. The room even has Rhodiola rosea tea that you can brew, and there's a diffused oxygen concentrator. The breakfast selection is also very generous. Furthermore, our butler, Ms. Si Qu, was very attentive and welcoming, proactively helping us with our luggage and providing all the necessary information. She's also very pretty. The other hotel staff greeted us warmly every morning. Highly recommended!

The scenery is decent, but the poor hardware maintenance and inadequate services severely detract from the experience, making it poor value for money. First, the pros: The location is very close to Tagong Grassland, with open surroundings, and some rooms offer direct views of the snow-capped mountains. The scenery is indeed beautiful. However, the drawbacks are fatal: 1. **Room View is a ”Blind Box”**: Not all rooms have a snow mountain view; some room types have obstructed views, only seeing the grassland. 2. **Disgusting Equipment Maintenance**: The room comes with a humidifier and an oxygen concentrator, which are thoughtful amenities for high-altitude areas. However, when I turned on the humidifier, I found its interior to be very dirty, clearly not cleaned for a long time. The oxygen concentrator was even worse; when I used it, water actually sprayed into my nose. Upon inquiry, I learned that a previous guest had refilled it themselves and the staff hadn't checked or cleaned it. Such a basic lack of maintenance is completely inconsistent with the room price. 3. **Oxygenation Effect is Useless**: The oxygen concentrator has a time limit for use, after which you have to pay extra to rent it. Moreover, the dispersed oxygen supply is not very effective, and I didn't feel much improvement when experiencing altitude sickness. 4. **Poor Value for Money in Dining**: The on-site restaurant is overpriced, and the taste and portion sizes are nothing special. In summary: If you're only looking for scenery, there are more options around. If you choose this place, be prepared for the possibility of ”winning the lottery” with the equipment.

The hotel is located in the center of Xinduqiao, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and bright, with cultural features and oxygen supply equipment. The most fearful thing about not being able to sleep on the plateau is that the oxygen supply equipment solves a big problem. There is no noise when using oxygen in the room, and there is obvious It relieves hypoxia, is easy to use, and is much more affordable than going to the hospital to use oxygen. After comparing several hotels, I decided on Yunzhi Hotel, and it didn't disappoint. The room layout is simple and elegant, and everything is clean, especially the bedding which was spotless and soft. It was very quiet at night, so I wasn't disturbed at all. The front desk staff were responsive and polite. The location is also convenient. I'll definitely prioritize booking here again next time.

The room was clean and tidy without any peculiar smell. The front desk helped to turn on the floor heating in advance, which was very considerate. The humidifier was quite small.
