Beautiful day to travelWe had a wonderful stay at Wunuan Homestay in Jiaoxi. The location is very convenient, especially if you're driving. It is just a few minutes from the highway exit—simply turn right after exiting, and you'll reach the homestay within minutes.
The surroundings are peaceful, scenic, and a refreshing escape from the city. One of the highlights was the river right in front of the property. True to the previous reviews, you can fish there, and it was a memorable experience for our family. We enjoyed spending time outdoors and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.
Driving made it easy to explore the surrounding area. There are many beaches, farms, and family-friendly attractions nearby, although having a car is definitely recommended. The roads were quiet with very little traffic, and we loved the wide open fields, greenery, and the absence of high-rise buildings. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature.
The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He recommended excellent local food, suggested places to visit, and even assisted us with making reservations, which made our trip much smoother.
The homestay itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for families. Our room comfortably accommodated our family of three, including our teenage son, and we had plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing.
One small point to note is that the bathroom floor can become quite slippery when wet, so extra care is needed, especially for children and older guests.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Wunuan Homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat while exploring Jiaoxi and Yilan. In

Like to travel~The hardware is complete, but the software is lacking. We had communicated our arrival time via email in advance, but when we arrived on the first day, we couldn't see the receptionist at all. We called the two phone numbers given by the B&B for more than half an hour before anyone answered, and then we were told how to check in via phone. I couldn't see the housekeeper for three nights. During this period, I had to communicate via email if I had any inquiries.

When I first saw the website description, it seemed very convenient. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found it was located on a country road with fields on both sides, not directly next to a main road. Driving at night was a bit dangerous.
The room was quite clean and tidy, like a private guesthouse. You had to take off your shoes before entering, but the soundproofing was very poor. Around 4 AM, I could hear loud noise and laughter outside the room, easily waking me up.
Breakfast consisted of individual small set meals, which I initially thought were for one person, but it turned out to be shared by two, and the portion was rather small. The self-service breakfast bar only had toast for toasting; there were no other dishes. The coffee machine's coffee was a bit sour and not hot enough. I had expected to see fields, but it was just a bare area, and overall, there weren't many facilities available. Considering the price, the value for money wasn't very high.
I would probably consider it again next time, but I won't give this evaluation. Thank you.

The location is very close to Luodong Night Market. There's also a partnered parking lot nearby. The staff were very attentive in their introduction. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, equipped with an air conditioner that provides both heating and cooling. The bathroom has a bidet toilet and a hot and cold water exchange system, so you can warm up the bathroom before showering, making it not cold even in winter. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe minsu was clean and comfy. The decor was on point with Pokémon which was why I booked the room in the first place. The living areas is shared with some toys to occupy the kiddos during their meals.
Take note that location is a bit isolated so you definitely need a car to reach. Otherwise the distance from minsu to all major attractions in yilan takes about 20-30mins which is reasonable.
Can’t rate much for services as it’s mainly self service. The owner was kind enough to come by and ensure we are settled down when we first arrive. There are no breakfast venues nearby so you gotta just order from the owner. It’s local breakfast so food is not too bad!

We booked this accommodation at the last minute and didn't arrive until 10 pm. The staff were incredibly helpful; a quick phone call and they immediately appeared to help us with parking and escort us to our room. They were so attentive and friendly to children, keeping them entertained throughout the journey. The room layout also met our needs. We definitely think we'll stay here again. Great!

The slide in the six-person room was really fun, but the soundproofing was a bit poor, and the flooring wasn't very comfortable to walk on. There's a table and sofa, which made it super convenient for bringing food back. The room was spacious and comfortable overall.

I was lucky to share the room with only one person so I can't speak for people who came during a time with more people but in my case, it was very calm. The bed is comfortable, the locker big enough and the bathroom area clean. I recommend!

Happy to have had the hotel save me from cycling another 2 hours through the dark. Easy to find, many rooms available. Nice receipt from the owner and happy they had cloths washing and drying fascilities. Stored my bicycle in the room which wasn’t appreciated by the owner as he was worried for making his bed sheets dirty. As he couldn’t reach out to me he switched off the A/C. That’s a complete no-go and totally against any hospitality rules. I stay 209+ days a year in hotels and never ever have I had such a treatment. Anyways, was dissolved quickly but hope the owner can change his attitude to other travellers. Apart from that the bed is hard and the A/C works good. Loads of blouse form the neighbour on the next morning.
