2-Star Hotels in Moalboal

TLDR: an amazing stay in general. Perfect for people seeking a getaway The hotel is located a bit south to the moalboal town center (approx. 10min by tutuk or motorbike) and away from the main road. You’ll need to cross a bridge made of bamboo sticks first to find your entrance. It’s a quiet place where you can only hear the nature and your own thoughts. I’d highly recommend the restaurant because they offer great food at a reasonable price, although takes some time to serve so order in advance. Kudos to the owners who are almost always present and will come to the table to introduce themselves and make recommendations if needed. Staff are well-trained and very helpful. You’ll also get the chance to observe some of the wildlife species like birds and lizards while staying there, which is a plus for me. A 10/10 experience. Don’t miss it if you enjoy some peace and quiet in the nature.

A cozy and pleasant small hotel with delicious breakfasts! The rooms are simple but have everything you need. The staff is polite and friendly. We arrived late at night, having informed the hotel in advance, and were checked in without any issues. Thank you!

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful! I felt so welcome. It was my first time in the Philippines, and they patiently answered all my travel questions and provided great assistance. The common areas have super gentle resident dogs and cats, who are very well-behaved. The facilities are a little bit dated; mainly, the refrigerator made a slight noise when cooling (though you can just unplug it). Breakfast is à la carte and delicious, especially the corned beef, I think it was called. I slept very soundly. We booked the Sardine Run (our first snorkeling experience) and canyoning through the hotel. Here's how it went: the Sardine Run was 1900 pesos per person? I forgot the price for canyoning, but it wasn't expensive at all, and totally worth it!

I can confidently say this is the best hotel in Moalboal, it outperforms other 3-4 star hotels in the area. I know this because I spent my last two nights at another 4-star hotel, which really difference. The location is very good, with restaurants and bars steps away, The prime location puts restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, Rooms come fully equipped and impeccably clean, while the staff go above and beyond with their genuinely warm service. As a solo traveler, I particularly appreciated these qualities and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling alone.

We stayed at this hotel for three days, and we loved everything! It's a 30-35-minute walk from Mac, downtown Moalboal, and the pier. But you can always catch a trike or motorbike. We rented a scooter from the hotel; it was brand new, and at the time of our rental, it was 400 pesos per day. It's a maximum of 10 minutes by trike from the party center and Sardine Market. The hotel was quiet; we're not party people, so we slept great! There's hot water, which runs quite well for the Philippines, and a tankless water heater is installed. There's breakfast at the hotel, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to use it because we had to leave for our tours very early. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM, and the prices are reasonable. There's space to hang clothes, a refrigerator, TV, safe, hairdryer, and air conditioning that keeps the temperature down very well! What else do you need? The staff is very friendly and helpful! You can always message them on WhatsApp and they'll respond. The only issue is that two or three caterpillars crawled into our room at night, but that's not a big deal! They don't bother you, so don't bother them. If we ever get the chance to return to Moalboal, we'll definitely stay at this hotel again!

I made a reservation in a hurry, but the guidance was so friendly that I was able to check in easily. It's just a 3-5 minute tuk-tuk ride from Boalmoal's main street. Just tell the front desk and they'll call you! Breakfast was also reasonably priced at 100 pesos per person.

Very nice hotel!!! We were there from 30.04 to 5.05. Cozy hotel with polite and attentive staff. It is not very new, but everything is in good condition. The hotel is located on the 1st line, a restaurant with very tasty food and cocktails right on the shore, which adds to its romance. Here you want to spend time contemplating the water, the sky, and people’s lives. The hotel has a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a pleasant massage in a gazebo, etc. for an additional fee. Very green, with its own small beach. We lacked a kettle and cups in the room, but you can buy boiling water in the cafe, which a hotel employee will bring to your room. About a 30-minute drive away, we recommend visiting a conningere and spending 2 hours by car to swim with a whale shark, and you can swim with turtles and sardines near the hotel yourself or order an instructor. We had a great time!

Все новое, душ с туалетом тоже. Кондиционер шумноват, но вполне терпимо. Очень приятно, что его можно не выключать при уходе. Расположение прям топ! Отдельное спасибо хозяевам за радушие, приветливость и возврат любимой мною забытой вещи Ps петуха из дома напротив хочется убить и пожарить

The hotel is located right on Panagsama Beach. The room's renovation is a 3/5, everything is quite old. You won't find a TV, safe, kettle, glasses, tea, water bottles, or a minibar in the room. You'll need to get all your toiletries yourself daily from the reception: shampoo, soap, toilet paper. You can also get a hairdryer and mugs there. Cold and hot water is also available on the ground floor. There was no room cleaning once in 6 days, and the floors on the common areas weren't cleaned either; the trash bins were full of garbage. We really couldn't understand their cleaning situation. The staff, however, was extremely polite and ready to help with any issue. In the room, there was one bath towel per person, large, perfectly white, and fluffy – a definite plus. The mattress was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. It's a bit noisy around the hotel, and the area near the hotel is dirty, with construction debris lying around. The pool was out of order due to renovations. Overall, we're happy with the hotel; we had a great rest. I've described all the nuances, so if these things are critical for you, keep them in mind. All in all, I'd give the hotel a 4 out of 5, minus a bit.

Location is so so, staff is good air come is quiet and good. Room is Not soundproof at all. Walls very tiny. Small and Very noisy. No hairdryer no chair. Room service is poor. Water was given only one time. Electric plugs are Filipino style and No adaptors to charge ur stuff. Result - will not stay there anymore :)
