GGuest UserJust near the World War II bridge, the yard is very comfortable, cost-effective, and parking is convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. Next time I drive to Pai, I will stay here and stay for a few more days.

AAnonymous UserI liked the loft design in the photos. In reality it looks simpler and somehow uncomfortable. But overall there are no issues with the hotel, the bed is great, the bathroom is huge, the fridge is cool, the Wi-Fi is fast, the air conditioning works. The hotel has a large area, you can sit and get free coffee/cocoa with a view of the river. After crossing the river on a bamboo bridge and walking another 100 meters you will find yourself on a pedestrian street filled with fast food. The hotel is suitable for those who want peace and quiet and want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian street.

VVaivkaIt was an amazing experience if you are looking to stay somewhere wild. It wouldn’t be great for anyone who doesn’t like nature or is scared of animals, but if that’s your thing, it’s perfect. The place is as tidy and clean as it can be inside of a clay house. The owner is really nice and helpful and the location is the most serene you will ever be. It kind of feels like you’re living in the jungle. It’s beautiful, you hear geckos, you might see a snake, there are cats meowing outside . It’s really peaceful, you can chill in the hammock all day but it’s also a walk away from town. And there is HOT water, which always feels like a luxury in these kind of places.

No kettle in the room, but hot water in reception & coffee in the morning.
The most comfortable bed ever!! Beautiful views of nature.

MMINSUThe center of Walking Street, where there are bus stops and several travel agencies.
The location is a strength as it is a 5-6 minute walk away.
There is also a hospital with an emergency room right behind it.
The facilities have a somewhat old-fashioned feel, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage.
Amenities are weak.
The room is spacious for the price and each room is well separated.
It would be good for those who value privacy.
More than anything, I remember the friendly staff.
Even if I find Pai again. This is a hotel I will consider again.

GGuest UserCheckin went quite quickly. Parking at the entrance, there were 2 spaces available. The bungalows were quite good for the price. Bed was good and shower and toilet were ok. Shower temperature could be adequately regulated. The door could be closed with a padlock when you went out. It could simply be locked from the inside. Did not use general area at reception.

GGuest UserI had a really great time at mad monkey! The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I did my laundry, booked a bus ticket back to chiang mai and rented a scooter at the front desk. They oftentimes offer fun communal activities. The rooms were really modern and clean and the individual blacked out curtains provided enough privacy :) the location is not right downtown (but you can walk there in 10 minutes) which I loved bc it was quiet during night hours.

MMaimon TopWe checked in for two nights at Pai Friendly Resort, a family operated resort, about a 15-minute walk to the Pai Walking Street. A small boutique hideaway with basic amenities - kettle and hair dryer. The room was clean and cosy, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing dip during hotter days.
