2-Star Hotels in Pai

We checked in for two nights at Pai Friendly Resort, a family operated resort, about a 15-minute walk to the Pai Walking Street. A small boutique hideaway with basic amenities - kettle and hair dryer. The room was clean and cosy, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing dip during hotter days.

Great view, close to the tourist street, and a great hotel My first impression was that it was old, but after staying for one night, I really liked it. The reason is because of the sunrise and the view of the mosque outside the window, and on some days, the clouds were hanging dreamily on the mountain. Therefore, when making a reservation, I recommend choosing the 2nd floor where you can see the view. They clean diligently every day, and they provide water and coffee. There is a large public space on the 3rd floor that you can use. It is close to the tourist street, and there is a fruit shop and a very delicious pad thai and hoi tod (oyster pancake) shop nearby, so that was also very good. There is also a princess-style cafe on the 1st floor of the hotel.

Spacious and comfortable beds. Garden is big and catches the sun nicely. Very chilled hostel and not a party hostel at all. But still good to socialize on the balcony and garden.

The location of the hotel is not that far from the tourist area. It's easy to find your way around with Google Maps. However, it can be difficult if you are dragging a heavy suitcase. When crossing the bridge, you have to carry your luggage. The facilities are very old, but the surrounding scenery is beautiful. The owner is very friendly To give us delicious fruits and help us with difficult problems. You worked hard Everything was fine, but the only thing that was inconvenient was The water pressure was so low that it was difficult to wash. Still, I would like to stay again next time I visit Pai.

I had a really great time at mad monkey! The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I did my laundry, booked a bus ticket back to chiang mai and rented a scooter at the front desk. They oftentimes offer fun communal activities. The rooms were really modern and clean and the individual blacked out curtains provided enough privacy :) the location is not right downtown (but you can walk there in 10 minutes) which I loved bc it was quiet during night hours.

Good hotel, clean room, green area. We liked it, the truth has a few features. From the main walk street and the center of a kilometer, you can walk on foot but better on a motorbike. The most uncomfortable thing is that you need to settle on the phone, as the bar is most of the time no one. We had a local number only with the Internet, could not call, but one local person helped by calling from his phone. So I would advise the owners of the gesta to set up telegram accounts, wattsap, etc. so that it is possible to connect through the Internet.
