Great
LLuxiaoliThe hotel is located on Heiwa Boulevard, a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, and offers a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen station in the morning. Public transport is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven convenience store diagonally opposite. The rooms are small but cozy. Like all Dormy Inn hotels, there's no bathtub in the room, but you can enjoy the public hot springs on the rooftop. Standard amenities include free late-night ramen, ice cream, and lactic acid drinks in the morning. Overall, I was very satisfied. There's a shopping street right behind the hotel with plenty of food and drink options, so you don't need to walk far to get to Hon-dori. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is also just a 20-minute walk away.
AAnonymous UserThe room was generally clean although there were a couple stains on the couch. The room was quiet which was a plus after a long day of sightseeing. We didn't use the onsen - but thought it was a good amenity to have on site. The room items (toiletries) were kept at the front desk, which helped limit the amount taken by certain guests overtaking products. We thought the location was decent, but still far from the station and the peace memorial park. We would stay here again as the value was decent for what we paid.
QQianhualiangThis is a very modern hotel. The entrance was a bit hidden, haha. It's close to all the main attractions, within walking distance or a short tram ride. Shukkei-en Garden is just over ten minutes away, Hiroshima Castle fifteen minutes. The Atomic Bomb Dome is also about sixteen to seventeen minutes away. Right outside is the Fukuya department store shopping street, and it's less than a ten-minute taxi ride back from Hiroshima Station. Breakfast was a bit limited, but the restaurant with a view was great. The public bath was very comfortable. The washing machines are right next to the public bath. The room was a bit small, but that's pretty standard for Japan. Overall, it's quite good!
MMoon RockThe hotel's location is ideal, as it’s near JR Hiroshima Station, making it easy to connect with other rail lines, and it’s conveniently close to Hiroshima. The Trust Hotels features an artificial hot spring, but it was too small for the number of guests staying here.
The hotel's highlights include its breakfast buffet, which offers a variety of both Japanese and Western dishes. All amenities are included in the price, so you don't have to worry about extra costs. The staff is friendly, and they offer self-check-in and check-out.
I stayed in the shared hostel type, but you have private rooms, so you can store your belongings inside.
I will be back here soon.
Zz3phyrIn unit laundry is absolutely amazing. Can pick up some detergent at a 7-11 or FamilyMart next to the hotel for a couple hundred yen that can last you quite awhile compared to the coin ops that easily takes more.
Only downside is the full room makeup is done for a charge and that there are a lot of stains on the couch which is very off-putting. The room is smaller than what the picture shows, but thoughtfully laid out carefully with all of the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Location is excellent near the famed Nagarekawa where there is a lot of dining and entertainment. Also a short walking distance to Hondori Shopping Street and the A-bomb dome.
GGuest UserThere was a feeling of cleanliness, the room was beautiful, and the amenities were abundant, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.
I would like to introduce it to my friends.
BBlueBulbInitially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands.
I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen.
There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later).
Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean.
The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face.
I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me.
Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after.
One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen.
There is a convenience store in the hotel.
But I believe they closes at 2200.
Also, there is hot spring in the hotel.
There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use.
I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too.
For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast.
1st day was Japanese breakfast set.
2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast.
They were delicious.
The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections.
For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay.
I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride.
Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue.
I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima.
Thank you.
GGuest UserI chose Fav Hotel because I wanted a group of 4 friends to stay comfortably, so I chose this hotel with a large room. There are also washing machines, microwave ovens, cooking stoves and tableware in the room, which can fully meet the needs of people with cooking and laundry needs. However, the hotel is a bit far from JR Hiroshima Station. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk and the convenience store takes about 5 minutes to walk.
To sum up the hotel overall is very good.
GGuest UserAlthough it was close to Hiroshima Station and the downtown area, the room was quiet and calm. It looked a little old, but it was clean and there were no problems. It was also nice to be able to relax and enjoy the river view from the window. I would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserGreat location
It was difficult to find the entrance; for some reason, the hotel is marked in two places on the map, and the default maps lead somewhere wrong.
The staff seems inexperienced; check-in was slow; they gave us a card and wrote down the wrong room number, so we had to go back and find out the correct one.
There was a washing machine in the room, which was a surprise—we should have prepared and washed all our clothes while we were there.
