My tv was not entering channels, or using guide properly. So went to desk to discuss, thought most likely batteries were weak. She called the lame weak maintenance person. He looked at tv, said it was the gadget at bottom and turned the channels with remote 6” away. I laughed I want to be able to change channels in bed, LIKE AT HOME!! Told him to bring me a functional tv. Didn’t!!!
Told desk clerks, I need a functioning tv , bring one from another room. She said I don’t know which room? I said any room not in use and has a tv that DOES WORK!!! I need a refund
My husband and I had d a great stay. Quite and safe. Never been at a Motel 6 where it was safe and quite. Clean room and very nice staff. We will be back when we go back in that town.
MEDICAL PROCEDURE BOOKING: I booked a room for myself and my daughter because I was having a procedure done on my spine and I had to stay close to the Dr to 24 hours after. I booked this particular hotel because it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool, something my daughter could.enjoy while I slept off the anesthesia. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged $200 refundable deposit, which was not communicated to me upon booking the room, the pool was closed which was not disclosed to me a the time of booking and breakfast was not being served. I was extremely upset to find out that all the reasons I booked this specific hotel was for the amenities offered. The room was clean and the mattress was the best mattress I've ever slept on in my 43 years.
Easy to find and check in. I was okay with the room for the price, but then I couldn't sleep well. Because in the middle of the night above my room a lot of noisy people, possibly cleaning the room was loud and disturbing so I couldn't sleep until very late.
New owners in the place and the regular receptionist has a dismissive attitude. Some rooms are quite nice and it’s a good deal but be careful, the ‘price’ starts at $44 but after taxes etc it sometimes becomes $75. It used to be about $52 but now it’s at least $62 no matter what the initial cost said. The last room was awful: clogged sink, floors dirty, the door could only be opened by the staff, apparently the key cards didn’t work so you would need to see the receptionist to enter. But other times it is nice.
The bed was the only issue I had with if having a big dip in the middle of it causing me to roll towards the middle of it nestled in a small valley all nite.
