"There's no elevator, so carrying luggage up to your room can be a bit of a struggle. Also, the location on the map was wrong; it showed the restaurant, but the actual room was in a small alley, which took some searching to find. The staff were all very friendly, but with the language barrier, many things were unclear, like suddenly being asked to pay an 8 Euro tourist tax. The place was generally clean, but there was a bit of dust near the window and the floor wasn't spotless. However, I have to say the bed was really comfortable, and the location was very close to all the main tourist attractions in Belgium."

What an amazing little hotel! Perfect location right in the middle of everything. We booked the budget canal room and the view was beautiful. We really enjoyed people watching (the bridge) and the sparkly water reflecting from the lights. Really clean and spacious. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Definitely stay here!!

Not far from the train station, but it is really difficult to find, you have to go through a short tunnel to reach. The boss said that in fact, there is a free shuttle bus to the train station at the door. Every 19 minutes, I really saw it. When I left at 10 o'clock in the morning, I waited for more than half an hour but none of the cars came. Breakfast and the room was not bad, the bathroom was small, a bit like the feeling in the cabin.

This hotel is ideally located on a canal and close walking distance to tourist sites and restaurants. Great service, clean and safe hotel. Family room was great with added bonus of a kitchen and air conditioning.

The hotel is very good, it has a parking lot in front of it for €15.80 per day. Comfortable beds, friendly reception staff, ideal location, good breakfast. To repeat.

Hotel ideally located a stone's throw from the Markt. Warm and very welcoming owner. Attention to detail and customer well-being. Spacious but rococo room equipped with all amenities (Air conditioning, bathrooms, etc.) Hearty, varied continental breakfast in a magnificent setting (old cellar with 14th century vaulted ceilings). In short, more than positive value for money.

Nice hotel with convenient self check-in and check-out. The room and bathroom are small and not very spacious, amenities just the essentials but no hair dryer that didn't help. Overall ok for a one-night stay. The location is excellent, you can reach all the main tourist attractions within a few minutes.

Great location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.

This word of mouth is not from Hotel Het Gesterikhof. When we headed to the hotel, there was a sticker on the door saying, ”We are arranging to stay at another hotel because it is under renovation” (as of early February). I was surprised because I didn't contact you in advance, but I will arrive in about 10 minutes on foot to another hotel written there. I was able to stay at an upgraded hotel without any problems and no additional charges, but I wanted you to inform me by email at least.
