Also, when you're exploring the village, don't forget to say hello to the local dogs! 🐶 They're all very friendly, and we became good pals with them over our two-day stay.

The hotel is new and clean, located at the back part of fairlytale castle of toys. Gym is just a pair of treadmills and a few dumbells, don't expect a full workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

I heard that it is the earliest B&B. It is not in the scenic area, the mountain road is easier to drive, parking is convenient, the layout is very literary, the environment is very quiet, suitable for slow life! The breakfast is very good, especially the corn and sweet potatoes, it is so delicious! It is not as far as Songzhuang Village, and it is not as congested as Chenjiapu Village and Yangjiatang Village. But it is very close to Chenjiapu Village, and it is only a 20-minute drive to the old town. It is very pet-friendly. You can go to the restaurant and Grandpa's coffee shop with us.
