Great
GGuest UserFirst off, there were a few hairs on the bedding. So for cleanliness, maybe a 2.5? Rounded up to 3 points. No hairdryer and the heater wasn't working... It was so cold at night that I had to boil water in the kettle and pour it on the floor to keep warm while I slept... So for facilities, also a 2.5.
GGuest UserWe would definitely come back again! We have enjoyed staying at Salam 275 hotel during our visit to Cairo. The room we booked was exactly as it’s described online, the stuff are very nice and respectful and they go above and beyond to help their gusts with everything they need
And specially MOHEMADE RIFAD who work at the front desk is a supper genuine, very special nice man! The first night we checked in at their hotel, we did not have any Egyptian currency yet to purchase anything, and thus, he went ahead and paid for all of our meal from his own money… (and offer to help if theirs anything else that we need) and we returned his money to him the next day.
They assisted us with everything we need at the hotel and or outside, directing us touring the city, places to go and even find us the honest taxi drivers that we can use. We appreciate their hospitality
SShuliThe staff were friendly and the room was very spacious and clean. However, the next day, the cleaning staff tried to open the door even though I hadn't checked out yet. I wish they would check if I had checked out before coming. The elevators, corridors, and doors to the room were a maze.
GGuest UserI must admit I hesitated when booking this hotel for my father and me: it is fairly new and there were still only a few reviews online. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the quality of the accommodation.
Our room 1204 was spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom was fully functional.
The hotel is ideally located in the El Hussein and Al-Azhar area, just a few meters from Khan el-Khalili and Al-Muizz Street (a true open-air museum). In addition, within a 15–20 minute Uber ride, you can easily reach many other points of interest. And even though the neighborhood is very lively, El Rashedy Hotel is tucked away in a small side street, away from the noise.
We had initially planned to stay from November 17 to 22 and then finish our trip at another hotel in Zamalek, but we loved this place so much that we extended our stay until November 26.
A big thank you to the entire team—reception, management, and housekeeping—for their warm welcome, availability, and valuable advice.
JJamie ThooWe checked in very late, around 2:00am, as we arrived back late from Hurghada. We only managed to sleep for about 3 hours before heading out again for our desert tour, but even in such a short stay, the hospitality really stood out.
Thank you so much to the hotel for kindly helping us store our luggage, this small help made a big difference to our travel plans.
A very special thank you to Hazim. They were extremely helpful and genuinely kind. We had trouble booking an Uber, as drivers kept asking for extra money and rejecting foreign calls. In the end, Kasim patiently helped us book a car, guided us to the driver, and made sure everything was settled properly.
Their kindness and willingness to help, even in the early hours of the morning, truly meant a lot to us. This is the kind of service that travelers will always remember. Highly appreciated and thank you again 🙏
XXINLAN1. The location is good, within walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, subway, and kazaz, which is a 1.3km walk from gobus tahir station, which is very downtown.
2. The hotel has an elevator, which is very rare. I have stayed in a nearby hotel which is also located in an old house. There is no elevator and I need to carry my luggage. The elevator is not big enough to accommodate about 4 people (without luggage), but it is much better than climbing stairs by yourself.
3. There is one triple room and one double room. The triple room is quite spacious and the standard room is not large enough.
4. There is no hot water kettle or hair dryer in the room, you can ask for it at the front desk, but the number of these two items in the entire hotel is limited, so I waited for a long time...
5. It’s more cost-effective to pay in US dollars than in Egyptian pounds. The exchange rate for paying Egyptian pounds is not so good.
6. Breakfast starts at 8:00. If you want to go to the Black and White Desert, the driver usually picks up at 7:30. If you don’t have time to eat breakfast, you can go to the rooftop restaurant to pack some (the restaurant is still preparing breakfast at 7:30, and the things that can be packed are limited. Eggs, bread, flatbread, jam, that’s all)
SsuutsThis was the No. 1 accommodation I stayed at during my solo trip! First of all, it was very clean, the toilet and shower were separate, and it had hot water! The staff member was a kind and adorable old man! I was so happy I was able to relax! If I'm staying in Cairo again, I'll definitely stay here! It was so comfortable that I even asked to stay multiple nights! The location was great, and I found it pretty quickly! It's on the 6th floor! I'm afraid of elevators, which are a common Egyptian thing, so I used the stairs!
UUHanakoThis hotel is simple in terms of facility and services. But, it was good enough for me. The cost was reasonable and location was convinient for me. Only thing I want to complain is the shower room. After taking shower, I needed to wipe water spiled over outside the shower room.
FF0.97Every thing was okay and really good compared to the money that you paying but in the night I can’t tell where is my hotel just you need more light. Thank you
