The hygiene was impeccable, and the facilities were comprehensive. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, an open-air restaurant with a fantastic view. While the variety isn't huge, it's clean and delicious. A great bonus is that you don't need a converter for charging in the Philippines; your domestic chargers work directly.

Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

This place is a bit hard to get to by car because it's in an alleyway, and it's near the busy Chinatown, so my Grab rides kept getting canceled. Chinatown seems to close quite early at night, which was a bit disappointing. It's about a 15-minute walk to the mall. The hotel provides basic amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hand soap. Filtered water can be refilled in the common area on each floor. However, there are no cotton swabs, shower caps, tissue boxes, or coffee/tea. Another thing to note is that if you shower after 4 PM, it takes a very long time for the hot water to come on. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious.

The room was clean and has a big space. But when we checked in, seems like the utensils and mugs were used, they did not replace it or did not wash it. But overall stay was good and the service was good, the breakfast is good but they just offer only 4 menu. And also, outside noise is disturbing specially when midnight and someone is walking outside because of the wood floor.

If you are looking for cheap hotel in the middle of Malate this is the ace. Room is clean and hallways smell clean.

Overall: 4/5 Location: 4.5/5 Very convenient. I stayed here for a 2-day ISO training held in one of their convention rooms, so it was super practical. It’s also right beside Starbucks, which was my go-to for coffee. Value: 4/5 Reasonable for a short business stay, but parking has an extra fee. Room: 3/5 The hotel feels old and nostalgic — classic elevators and hallways. Bathroom was clean, but the room had a slightly musky smell. Walls seem thin since I could hear a neighboring room’s phone and music. Cleanliness: 5/5 Bathroom was neat and well-maintained. Service: 5/5 Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities: 5/5 Convention rooms are functional and convenient for seminars and trainings. The packaged food during the training was also good and complete, from breakfast snacks to lunch and merienda. Final Take: Good option for business stays and trainings. Not the most modern, but convenient and comfortable enough for short trips.

What I like with this hotel is the location. It's accessible to the mall, only walking distance. What I don't like was the TV channels isn't working, and we can here the people on the other rooms... Only 1 lift is working as well. But overall it's just fine

It’s close to restaurants, shopping areas, and tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city. The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a long day out. It felt safe and comfortable, which is something I truly value when traveling. Overall, Manila Lotus Hotel offers great value for money with its excellent service, strategic location, and cozy accommodations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manila and would gladly stay here again.

Accommodated my change of plans and helped me sort it out. In the end, i got an upgrade! Good location, convenient and near city attractions. Helpful staff. I got a good room too.

So, i came to manila alone. Hoping to have a good time. Spent 28 days in this hotel and explored the surronunding areas. By the end of the trip i met my babae and we where having a good time. Long story short... the hotel was well worth the money, as the view was great and my girl got pregnant. So, its a lucky room i guess too. You pay for all the amenaties. That was one down point but other than that it was fine and i had good nights/late night fun.. come and try it for yourself.
