3-Star Hotels in Mae Rim

Although I mistakenly booked the stay for the same day while making the reservation in the evening — meaning the check-in time had already passed by about four hours and I am quite far away in PAI (leaving next day to Mae RIM). Since it was a non-refundable, no-show booking, I initially thought I had lost it. However, Paul, the reception manager, reached out by email to ask what time I would be arriving. I explained my mistake, letting him know I had meant to book for the following day. To my surprise and gratitude, they kindly adjusted my reservation at no extra charge. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with tranquil natural sounds. The cleanliness was outstanding. The huts are very nice. The toilet and shower were stylish, modern, and spotless. I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was of excellent quality. (Attached are un-edited photos taken by mobile)

I loved it here so much! I highly recommend staying here. It's a perfect place to relax, with beautiful views of the village and mountains. The owner is lovely, kind, and friendly. I will definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance.

Very cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

The room we chose was perfect, with an amazing view that made the stay even more memorable. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The dinner set was quite generous in portion, although the taste was fairly average for us, and the meat could have been better marinated. One thing to note is that the road leading to the hotel can be a little challenging and intimidating, especially for smaller vehicles. We were driving a 4x4, so it was manageable, but it’s worth keeping in mind before your trip. Overall, it was a unique and relaxing experience, especially for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.

It will be good if you have your own transport to here. But you still can travel to here by arranging share transport from Klook - to Queen SiriKit Botanic Garden. (It just 10 to 15 min walk) or request them to send you straight to the Mae Sa Valley Farm Stay Resort. Over all the place is nice with a small waterfall. Air is fresh in the morning.  Simple Breakfast is included. The restaurant food is good. But we prefer the cafe with aircon which is just opposite the road. Food is yummy! Since we have no transport we walk to the Queen SiriKit Botanic Garden which is the nearest activity. You will need to spend about 3 hrs or more. There is a tram to bring you round. Please remember to bring along mosquito repellent. Over all the stay is pleasant if you like quite, fresh air.

It’s a very unique glamping experience . The rooms are clean and have all the basics. If you’re going in the cold season, take extra blanket and layers for the night as it gets super cold inside the rooms. It’s close to mon jam sky view. If yiu’re into hiking or running, the loop is also just next to you. The gentleman at the reception is very welcoming, and genuinely kind. He helped us with our car issue patiently and kindly. We didn’t get to thank him properly as he was dealing with some arriving guest. So, thank you so much for your help.

I really loved the service at NJ Homestay. Although the staff may not speak or understand English very well, we managed just fine using Google Translate. Our room’s toilet did give us some trouble during our stay — the water heater wasn’t working at first, and later the toilet had flushing issues, which continued throughout the two nights we were there. That said, I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were always patient and helpful, never hesitating to assist us with unclogging the toilet or checking the heater whenever there was a problem. The location isn’t the most convenient since it’s up in the mountains, but having a private driver made a big difference. Breakfast was included and it was great. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable considering the homestay is located in a mountainous area — some bugs are expected, and roosters start crowing as early as 3:30 a.m. Overall, the beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly staff and locals (Chiang Mai people are generally very warm and welcoming) made the stay worthwhile. I would definitely visit again.

It's not far from Tiger Kingdom or the elephant spot, but it's far from the city center, so you probably won't be able to catch a taxi on the way back from the Khom Loi Festival. Even if they took us there, they wouldn't be able to pick up other customers on the way back, so they would either charge several times the price or refuse to take us. I wouldn't recommend it if you're not staying in Chiang Mai for long, but the pool and restaurant are nice, so it's recommended if you're staying for a long time.

Best location with a stunning view. However, there’s inconsistent information between what stated in the hotel’s page and the actual room amenities. There is no WIFI in-room, the hotel staff said that they only have WIFI in the canteen area which can’t reach to the guest house. Also, the bedsheet and the certain stained and the bathroom is quite smelly. Other than this, everything else is fine and breakfast is on time.

The view here is stunning. The highlight is definitely the bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the scenery—it was amazing. The Moo Krata set is 500 THB, which is tasty and worth the price. The free breakfast is simple, consisting of porridge, toast, instant coffee, and juice. Getting here is very easy; the road is a smooth drive and there is plenty of parking. The only downside I found was the lack of hot water. Other than that, everything was great.
