3-Star Hotels in Hiroshima City

We booked two apartments each for two people. The apartment is spacious and easy to access with Taxi but not other public transportation. The amenities are good and it’s very clean. There are plenty of rubbish bins and coffee available in the kitchen cupboards. A few drawbacks: the body wash caused all four of us to feel like pins and needles in the skin but the hotel staff said they couldn’t provide another brand of body wash for us. Also, there is no air purifier. The saucepan does not have a handle. Yet, it’s quite comfortable to stay overall.

We stayed for three nights as a group of three in an Excellent Twin Room (room 807). We were delighted with everything! It's a wonderful hotel that makes a great first impression right from the moment you step in. The location is convenient – just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station and the tram stops, making it easy to get to Miyajima and Hiroshima's main attractions. The hotel itself is like a museum, with designer interiors in a Western aristocratic style. It's a pleasure just to walk through the lobby, sit on the sofas, and take photos against the backdrop of suits of armor, fireplaces, and paintings. The room is spacious and comfortable, with separate bathroom, toilet, and sink areas. There's a special basket for used towels. In the hallway, there’s a wardrobe with lighting. There are also separate areas for working and getting ready. The beds are wide and comfortable. The breakfast is a good, varied buffet. As for drawbacks, I can point out the lack of power outlets next to the beds, weak hot water pressure in the sink, and weak Wi-Fi. Overall, we really liked the hotel and will definitely recommend it to our friends and acquaintances!

Prime Convenience: Having a 7-Eleven located right on the ground floor of the hotel was incredibly convenient for late-night snacks, drinks, and daily essentials. Perfect Transit Location: The hotel is located just a quick three stops away from Hiroshima Station via the local streetcar. It is also highly accessible for easy taxi pick-ups and drop-offs right outside. Great for Shopping: It sits very close to the main local shopping streets, making it a breeze to walk to nearby boutiques and restaurants.

Stayed at toyoko inn near hiroshima station during my kansai trip. Have stayed in toyoko inn in other places before and it never disappoints - whilst simple, i enjoyed the location being ＜5mins walk to the main hiroshima station which is a transport hub for travelling in and out of the city. There is also many food options at the station. Amenities are simple but sufficient with clean facilities. Also love the classic toyoko inn complimentary breakfast which makes the price even more value for money.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

Location is ok, about a 15~25min walk from Hiroshima station depending if you have luggage or not. You can walk to the main sightseeing area near the atomic dome and it takes about 25mins. So it is not in the most convenient location but it is close enough. Lotsa food options nearby and it is right by the river so it is quiet at night. Staffs are very friendly and you get free coffee/tea downstairs. I wish they have bus pickups at hiroshima station as walking to the hotel with luggage can be tiring.

Had a really pleasant stay at Urbain Hiroshima Central during my trip in Hiroshima. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, shopping areas, and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to rest after a long day exploring the city. What I appreciated most was the friendly and helpful staff. Even with language differences, they were welcoming and always tried their best to assist guests professionally. The hotel atmosphere felt calm and relaxing, and overall, it provided good value for the stay. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Hiroshima in the future. 広島旅行の際に、アーバイン広島セントラルに宿泊しましたが、とても快適な滞在でした。 立地がとても便利で、レストラン、コンビニ、ショッピングエリア、公共交通機関へのアクセスも良かったです。部屋も清潔で快適に整えられており、観光後にゆっくり休むことができました。 特に印象的だったのは、スタッフの皆さんの親切で丁寧な対応です。言葉の違いがあっても、温かく迎えてくださり、プロフェッショナルに対応してくださいました。 ホテル全体の雰囲気も落ち着いていて、コストパフォーマンスも良いと感じました。広島を再び訪れる際には、また宿泊したいと思います。

The hotel's service and facilities are generally up to standard. For our stay, the room provided toothbrushes and essential toiletries, along with laundry facilities and drinking water, which was quite good. However, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel didn't provide shower caps. Also, room cleaning isn't done daily, so guests need to arrange for it according to their needs. As for the room rate, since it included breakfast, it's considered relatively inexpensive for a hotel in Hiroshima City. The only downside is that the hotel's location is a bit far from Hiroshima Station, making it not the most convenient. But it's closer to the Atomic Bomb Dome, which isn't too bad.

Opening the door using the key , not the cars key , the breakfast 🥞 s so so early must finish before 8:30 , 8:39 already need to be cleaned , and ask for turning the air con at 27 degree , outside is so hot , and check out so early 10am

The host was very responsive with how to get into the unit, just a note for other travellers the lockbox doesn't have an action after the code is lined up, just need to jiggle and pull the front of the box down and towards you to get it open. I was hoping to store luggage at the unit on arrival before my tour but was informed on the day with the instructions that luggage storage wasn't available. I would suggest only for younger groups for this unit as it is only accessible by stairs which are pretty cramped if you have large suitcases. To no fault of the owner it seems others have been using the stairwell as a smoking area so it does smell just outside the unit. The unit itself is very well equipped as an apartment unit which made it very cosy during our stay. The washing machine/dryer was easy enough to operate compared to many others and washing liquid capsules are provided. The location is the best feature as many good restaurants and Hiroshima station are all within 5 mins walk. Would highly recommend it to everyone else!
