Located in Dumbulla town, convenient for visiting in the cultural triangle. Rooms are in wooden chalet style with space and well equipped. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Dinner buffet is at good level. Overall it’s a nice stay at this area.

Stayed in room 234. Lets start with the bad. The shower rose did not work. Extreme caution is needed when using the shower, as the water could potentially give you third degree burns and the floor was very slippery. Now the average. I personally thought the dinner menu was a little restrictive and food quality lacked. Now the good. Very spacious room and bathroom. Quality bed linen and towels. Comfortable bed and good AC. Staff very polite, responsive and helpful. Would stay again, but they need to get the shower sorted, as it is dangerous.

In general, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel despite the heavy rains. The attention of the staff is felt.When you check in - a drink, and the room is waiting for a fruit plate, which is very pleasant. Beautiful large area, with a classy pool,pleasant rooms. In the room, a separate shower and a separate toilet. Beds are not very comfortable and pillows.No blanket,just a bed.Most of the roses in the old-fashioned room,they are not suitable for the crossovers. Food:Dinner and breakfast-Swedish table.Choice is good,not all delicious,but you can find something to eat and not stay hungry.We had dinner included-he on the menu.It was provided on the day of departure,because on the day of arrival we didn't have time.The dinner was very much liked, restaurant dishes, good servings. Still satisfied. Excellent price-quality ratio. Separate thanks to the manager of SAMALKA for solving all questions and a memorable gift for the end!

Stayed for one night: - good WiFi -helped with Tuk tuks to Sigiriya rock - nice Pool - good food (ordered koththu from the menu see picture) - good towels -ac working -friendly staff -breakfast was toast with omelette and fruits

The hotel is right next to the cave temple and you can walk past it, which is very convenient. The hotel can report to Lion Rock for a group tour, or charter a car to Lion Rock, and then go to the ancient city. The price is billed in US dollars.

Everything about the stay here was perfect from start to finish. The hospitality of the staff at this resort is unmatched. They will go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay

This hotel is located in the forest within walking distance of Sigiriya. Since it’s in the forest, I expected there to be a lot of insects, but to my surprise, there were hardly any inside the room, and I was able to stay comfortably. I had booked for two nights, planning to climb Sigiriya Rock in the morning and then relax by the pool in the afternoon. However, it seems that the hotel has a policy of turning off the electricity in the rooms during the daytime. Although I asked a staff member to turn the main power back on and they did, it was soon turned off again. When the main power is off, the room becomes completely dark, and neither the Wi-Fi nor the air conditioner works. It was clear that even if I asked them to turn it back on again, the same thing would just keep happening. I felt it would only add to my stress, so I decided to move to another hotel.

The staff were superb! They couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one. The room was clean with plenty of space. Air conditioned and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good: fruit, roti, coconut pancakes, eggs how you want them, fruit juice, other bits too. Our table was hardly big enough to hold it all. An excellent location to visit Lion Rock and several restaurants and bars within walking distance serving local and western options.

Breakfast is a set meal and the amount is too small. The overall nature of the homestay is not a hotel. Not very recommended.
