Amazing
GGuest UserThe good:
The staff are excellent - very friendly, attentive, helpful, and flexible throughout our stay. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable to be in.
The less good:
The hotel is positioned as a luxury boutique property, but the quality of the materials, furniture, and finishes did not fully match that positioning for us. The flooring and built-in cabinetry is laminate rather than higher-quality materials, and much of the furniture felt mass-produced rather than bespoke.
The air-conditioning unit was noisy and not concealed, which was noticeable at night, and the external heat pump/condenser in the balcony or garden area is unsightly. The pool is located within the lobby area, receives very little direct sunlight, and was not usable during our stay with insects present throughout the day.
Given the beautiful natural surroundings, it was a shame to see such extensive use of artificial and low-grade materials. Travellers interested in high-quality finishes and design details may want to take this into account.
KKnoxxxI stayed in H Hotel for few nights I must say we didn't expect much from this hotel but we were really impressed! The location is superb. It's just few minutes walk from the coast where the island tours depart. Also near the shops and restaurants which made things very convenient. The hotel is quite modern. They have dyson for blowdry and smeg kettle in the room. The bed is very comfortable I had a good sleep every night. We had the perfect view (sea-view room) from the room plus they have the best instant coffee in the rooms. There's no hotel that can offer that good coffee which is exclusively produced for H Hotel. The restaurant upstairs had an amazing view of the sea. The ambiance is so chill and the foods tasted amazing. We had few drinks too. Everything we had tasted absolutely good. The staff provided assistance with El Nido tours and answered all queries we had while ensuring that we get to enjoy our tour around El Nido. Hats off to the reception for really minding us very well. They are the best! We are so grateful of their recommendations. We really had a great time in El Nido.. big thanks to H Hotel staff!
KKnoxxxThere’s so much to like about S Resort El Nido! The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was perfect (very spacious, great shower heads and water pressure). We had a top of the range hair dryer & kettle, with a mini fridge, a TV with netflix, a drying rack on the balcony, and our rooms were cleaned and tidied every day. The staff were extremely accomodating and welcoming! We always received a warm welcome and were always offered assistance with anything we needed. I would highly recommend S Resort in El Nido!
LL.B.A.I'm glad I booked this place for my solo trip. It's a few steps away from the marvelous Nacpan Beach plus I can use the sun beds under the shade of a huge umbrella. The Marshall speakers and Dyson hairdryer (with attachments!) were a massive, pleasant surprise. Even five-star hotels like Fairmont or Okada don't have these. The service? On top. Their employees were helpful in carrying luggage to and from the lobby, in booking Tour A which includes two-way transportation, and in finding an insect repellant. I won't tire of recommending this place.
Areas of improvement are: its accessibility (going to the town center and v.v. would require a four-wheel vehicle) and ease of communication prior to arrival (contact number was difficult to come by.)
MmarchinoingiapponePerfect accommodation for visit Coron. Also i suggest to eat there and not in the city the quality is very high. Room are clean and perfectly set up. King size bed is relaxing! Staff are super friendly.
__M1381886****The hotel is located on a small road, about a 15-20 minute walk from the busiest street. It's a short distance from Zuri. I've stayed at both and each has its pros and cons. The view is still good, and breakfast is decent. The Wi-Fi is mediocre and disconnects frequently. It has its own pier, which is great for watching the sunset. However, it's easy to accidentally end up in a room near the chicken coops; those chickens really crow day and night. I asked the front desk if I could change rooms, but they said they were fully booked. Luckily, Trip.com was very helpful and arranged a room a bit further away, so I finally didn't have to listen to chickens crowing in the middle of the night.
ААндрей ХарактеровThis hotel was our first introduction to the Philippine islands. We specifically chose it because it's conveniently located for trips to see dugongs and turtles in the ocean, and it totally paid off. The excursion was simply excellent. Even though a typhoon had passed through the island just a few days before our arrival, we were met with a clean hotel. They had managed to get it almost completely back in order. The beach area was leveled and cleared. There's a long jetty for swimming.
We were checked into a spacious room with an ocean view. Big props to the hotel staff for their eagerness to please us. They gave us a free early check-in since we arrived around 9 AM. Near the hotel, there's a small village where you can buy alcohol, fruits, and snacks, but the best part is the magnificent nature of this place. We were simply charmed.
In the evening, after returning from a walk, we saw that a candlelit dinner table had been specially set up for us on the oceanfront. We were served a very delicious dinner and had a wonderful evening. On the day of our departure, we were unexpectedly told that we would be transferred to our next hotel on the island free of charge. You don't often encounter such attentiveness, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We would have gladly stayed longer in this lovely place to enjoy its hospitality and incredible local scenery, and to visit the safari park. Definitely recommend!
GGuest UserMantiloc resort is a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a unique spot this place is for you. The staff are so kind and helpful, they make it an amazing stay. The half day boat trip is also well worth it and one of the best parts of our trip.
The menu could do with being expanded, with more vegetarian and vegan options. Also a barista coffee option would make it perfect., though a nespresso machine was a available upon request
GGiorgiabgulReally nice resort only 10min away from the port by Tuc Tuc. The room very clean and with all the essentials for the staying. My room wasn’t exactly view on the pool as expected so I would have to say a little bit overpriced. Nice breakfast. They arranged me an half day tour of the main spots in Coron and they were really flexible. The only thing that often happens to me travelling solo is that at pool bar for lunch I asked half portion of a serving because it was meant to be for 2/3 people (in the Philippines they often have family sharing portions) but they said it wasn’t possible that they could serve me half portion but the price would’ve been the same and I found that annoying. Other than that they offer shuttle bus to the airport and everything else was as good as in the pictures!
AAnonymous UserWe stayed at this hotel for a few days. The property is still partially under construction, especially the restaurant area, which affects the overall experience. Breakfast is served on the veranda or on the beach.
My friend and I both work in the F&B industry and pay attention to details. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which is a positive point. Breakfast must be ordered the evening before; on one morning with a 6 a.m. wake-up for an excursion, there was unfortunately no water in the room.
After two nights, we were moved to another room. In the first room, housekeeping was not done for two consecutive days, and in the new room the controller was not working properly.
The location is quite remote, about a 40-minute scooter ride from El Nido town, where all excursions depart. Transportation costs are worth noting: a 125cc scooter costs around 800 PHP per day, while taxi or van transfers cost about 3,000 PHP per trip.
Overall, the stay was fair, mainly thanks to the kindness of the staff, with room for improvement once construction is completed and operations are refined.
