Manchester Salford Quays

We stayed here for 1 night before flying from Manchester airport however we had an awful nights sleep which wasn’t a great start to the holiday. Check in was easy although car parking is a rip off. There is a discount code which makes it £8 for 24 hours but only if you pay by the machine on the wall. If you pay online using the QR code it is much more expensive but hotel staff don’t tell you this. We were given a room on the second floor which we used the lift to access. The room had a lovely view over the quay. The problems started with the bed, the matttess was very clearly old and sagged massively in the middle meaning my husband and I constantly rolled the middle waking each other up. We were also woken up numerous times by the room above walking around throughout the night. I reported this to reception on check out who stated that they couldn’t hear anything from the corridors and that we should have come down in the middle of the night to tell them (which would have disturbed our sleep even more) We really liked this hotel for its location to the airport but I don’t think we will be staying here again due to the reasons above.

A good hotel as usual, quiet and comfy. Restaurant not good, very very grubby and tired although it was a Beefeater.

Booked clean was not done and when we complained we got given two towels to replace used ones. No replacement coffees and this was a a Premier Room at extra cost

A nice hotel in a fabulous location, right on the Quayside with great bars and restaurants within walking distance, close to Old Trafford, Coronation Street and the IWM. Rooms are what you’d except, for me the location and views are what make it great

We booked because a family member had stayed there for work purposes. My daughter and I went to a concert at Co-Op Live and we knew the hotel is on the tram route. This worked very well and I would definitely book here again if going to a show. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There is parking onsite that you have to pay for, but my car felt safe. It was a good base for a few days.

An excellent Premier Inn in a great location with fantastic staff. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable to the point I didn't want to go home.

Stayed here last minute as our home was being renovated, check in was efficient s d the staff very polite, the kids appreciated the little gift :) The family room was clean and spacious with a waterside view and air conditioning. Parking was £8, very reasonable for the area. The hotel is very pleasant to walk to and from, there are lots of great restaurants in Salford Quays. Sadly the breakfast let it down, in the beefeater next door. It’s not a hot buffet, you make your selection and are served but the wait is long and the food very poor- cold and undercooked (apart from the eggs which were rock solid). Even the orange juice was bitter and watery. The restaurant itself is quite dirty with tipped seats and cobwebs. We’d stay in the hotel again no problem but we would eat elsewhere.

We had an amazing weekend in Manchester. I would love to thank Katarina from the reception for absolutely amazing customer service, she helped me with information about parking and was very friendly to my children as well. I want to wish her all the best in her future career.
