Greeting nicely as soon as we walked in. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was much needed after a long travel day. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and the pillows were perfect like you expect from an IHG (our go to hotel of choice).

Would not stay here again. Pillows smelled like dirty heads/hair and this was all 8 pillows (4 on each bed). Even my husband who does not smell very well said that they all smelled bad. The sheets & pillow cases were clean, but the pillows just outright smelled horrible! Then there were a group of kids on our floor who were whooping and hollering until 2 am out in the hallway. I called down to the front desk to complain and let the phone ring 14 times with no answer. Maybe they were tied up on the phone with other guests who were complaining because shortly after I hung up the kids finally shut up. I'd like to know just where were the parents or chaperones if it was a group outing?

The hotel location is okay. My room was decent, I would say clean but without attention to detail, food crumbs on fridge and coffee tray. Breakfast was a good typical IHG style. Entry way and lobby floors pretty dirty/stained rugs. My room had a paint smell. What took my review from 4 to 3 was parking. There were no parking spots available so I had to park in Hampton Inn lot. For the price, I would probably not stay again.

I chose this hotel because it is just across the bridge from Duluth which is a bit congested at this time of year. Also, the ad said it had be renovated. The renovation included the rooms and most of the rest of the building. It was very really beautiful . The bed was very comfortable and had a microwave and a refrig. Also, the staff were very helpful and cheerful. I will definitely come, again! Thanks so much!

One night stay while on a road trip. Check in person was great and just the right amount of friendly and helpful. Our 2nd floor room was large, with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The room was very clean and seems to have been recently refurbished. I liked the location, it was easy to go for a walk along the water and there is a Dunkin Donuts in the next building. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

karly was very nice and helpful. i loved her personality and she made my hotel experience wonderful. She was very nice to me when i asked her questions and she was very happy when we were talking to her. She made the holiday inn express and suites a memorial, and exciting experience. i cannot thank her enough for using kindness when i was asking her simple questions at 10:23 pm.

Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Great shower head with plenty of pressure! As with most Holiday Inn Express locations, breakfast is warm and a little nicer than prepackaged pastries. Coffee was nice and strong! Room doors are not well insulated against sound, so if you need an early bedtime, rest can be difficult.

We stayed here for two nights, booking a room with a jetted tub. Taking the elevator up we noticed the floor was DISGUSTING. it looks like it’s never been cleaned but very heavily soiled for many years. Upon entry into the room a wave of musty smell hit us. We later discovered the shower curtain could use a washing, as that had a strong musty smell from it. Hard to feel clean in a tiny shower that stinks. The linens had stains on them. A towel in the bathroom looked to have makeup on it. The bathroom vent was filthy, covered in dusty cobwebs. There was dust covering several of the items in the room (lamps, tvs) and the floor. I happened to drop an piece of clothing next to the desk and when I picked it up there was dust all over it. The floors around the hotel were in great need of vacuuming. A pool towel laid in the hallway for over a day. The pool had no towels one day my son and husband swam. I was too grossed out to use the jetted tub, but my daughter tried it. The jets did not work. One of our keys also did not work, having it redone with still no success. When I politely shared these concerns at check out the lady seemed to not care. We will never stay here again.
