I'm not a smoker so I requested a non-smoking room, but there were none available so I ended up in a smoking room. As expected, the smell permeated the room.
It was disappointing that there wasn't a single bottle of water in the fridge and the air purifier was rattling noisily, probably because it was broken.
Everyone at the front desk was cheerful and polite!

It's a very old building and the facilities in the room are outdated. It was crowded, so I gave up on the public bath and took a shower in my room, but the drain pipe seemed to be clogged, so the water didn't flow, which made me feel quite uncomfortable, and I wore two men's large pajamas, even among women. This is simply a poor hotel with tiny rooms and an awkward step up into the bathroom which could defeat older people Breakfast was included but it was a sad affair Room was clean enough but limited amenities and simply too small for a couple. Good supermarket and eating options handy but one to avoid

Conveniently located near Suwa Interchange for sightseeing around Lake Suwa. The road in front is quite busy. The building facilities are quite old. This is a business hotel, so it is not a relaxing facility. There is no local flavor for breakfast.
