Atour Hotels in Suzhou

Not knowing Suzhou at all, I thought I had chosen a hotel to suit my needs for exploring the history whilst still being near the modern. This hotel is ideal for both. With a metro station (line 3) Shajinqiao, within a 10 minute walk, literally, just round the corner, and a taxi ride to either end of where I wanted to be costing me under 30RMB, this was an absolute gem of a find. On arrival, the staff were very good and extremely helpful. I was checked in without any fuss, with the usual pandemic checks, travel codes, health codes and I showed both 48hr and 24hr covid tests. The room was cosy, with excellent air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and very clean. The toilet was intelligent, electronic and quite a novelty. It even warmed my posterior whilst sitting on it! The hotel provides a kettle and 2 free bottles of water daily though there may at one time have been a mini fridge, it was not there on this visit. Breakfast is served at reasonable times with the last orders being done 10:30am. (11 am at weekends). It is a decent spread, predominantly Chinese food, rice, vegetables, meats with cooked-to-order eggs, porridge (Chinese rice style) and a cold buffet. There are delicious pastries, toast and fruit. Tea and coffee are available along with a varied selection of fruit juices. The restaurant is airy, bright and clean. Plenty of seating is available. Room lighting was bright and cheerful but could be set to 'mood' which dimmed and made for a more intimate atmosphere. On Didi App, the hotel does not come under Atour Hotel. You will need to search for Yi He Cha Can Yin Guan Li You Xian Gong Si. At the time of writing, Suzhou was low risk. However, the recommendation was for Suzhou citizens not to travel and if they had to, to show a 48hr covid test. I had a bit of trouble with getting the app to work and thanks very much, eternal gratitude, to the wonderfully patient and supportive reception staff who all contributed, made phone calls and tried their best to get the app to work. Eventually, we succeeded. That is service and that was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very good accommodation experience, with complete surrounding facilities and convenient transportation. The guy named Yao at the front desk was very nice and patiently helped solve housing problems and provided travel suggestions. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Suzhou next time.

The location very conveniences, have my fav coffee (in China) and easy to get meal - breakfast, lunch & Dinner. Hotel very comfortable and staff service is good. U can ask for additional drinking water without charges.

The location of this hotel is in a pedestrian Street, so when you get dropped off you will get dropped off in the road and just walk a little bit over to the hotel. It’s a very busy street so there’s many things around in terms of buying food and going out. However, I can get a bit noisy but you don’t really hear a lot of the noise from inside the hotel the only noise is the rooms in ext store. The neighbors that I had were exceptionally noisy and I didn’t really like that but that’s not the hotels fault. It’s easy to order takeout, the hotel will send it to your room with the small robot and also the hotel is very neat and very clean. The staff don’t speak but they are very helpful, so if you can’t speak Chinese I would suggest using a translator. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that it was so busy around the hotel but once again that’s not the hotels fault. The service is the best from the cleaners, they are so nice and so kind and always greet you and are very helpful.

We had a very pleasant experience with our stay. Staffs were very friendly. Once we arrive to the lobby they served us tea and they upgraded us to a room with bigger bed and on the third floor. It was nice because my mom and sister stayed on the first floor were complaining about the noice of the people walking pass by the room. The room on the first floor is right behind a neighborhood street were you can literally hear everything. They had free laundry services which I really like. The housekeeping staff were really nice. I left my clothes washing but it was taking long and the lady staff told me that I don’t know need worry about my clothes. Once is finished washing they will put it to dry and later they will fold it and place it in the clean basket. You just have to go back and retrieve it after. That is just so nice. You just put it to clean, go, come back and grab the clean clothes. The buffet breakfast lady was also nice. Overall experience was great.

The room is very clean, the floor is the floor, you can rest assured that the children can play on the ground. There is a park around the hotel, you can ride around the lake, it is very suitable for parents and children to play, each floor has a sky garden, you can drink tea to enjoy the lake view, slow tour is a good choice, the night porridge at night is also good. 7-9 There is a square dance at the point, it will be a little noisy, but we all play until late, no impact.

This is my first time staying at Atour, and overall I am quite satisfied. The room is fully equipped and the small refrigerator is full of things. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The environment outside the window is beautiful and you can see the large lawn. My wife and I are very satisfied. come back next time!

The hotel is located in an independent area of ​​the park with a quiet environment. The front desk staff is very good. We arrived at the hotel late at night and provided thoughtful service. The hotel has a beautiful environment, convenient parking and convenient transportation.

The hotel is located at a major T-junction in Mudu, an old town incorporated in Suzhou. This means that it is on a reasonably busy road. Nevertheless the excellent sound isolation makes it not much of a bother. As all Atour- hotels, personnel is trained well and is generally welcoming. Room and overall space in this hotel was a little bit tight compared to other Atour hotels I visited. Nevertheless overall I think Atour hotel are one of the best values for this quality of any hotel chain in China, as is this one. Membership, available for less than 100 yuan carries attractive options such as very cheap breakfast, late checkout (1600) and more. I had a good stay, coming in late with my bike, which they allowed to stay in the lobby for safe guarding.
