The newly opened HIX has a good location and convenient transportation. It is surrounded by elevated highways and subways. Lihu Station of Metro Line 4 is just downstairs. I think the price is very good, because I booked early, so the price was cheap. The hotel is an old hotel, but it is nice to stay in, and it has all the basic facilities. I arrived at the hotel before 8 o'clock in the morning, and the front desk lady provided good service. The cleaner came to work at 8 o'clock and quickly cleaned the room, and we checked in. Because the cleaning was in a hurry, I asked the cleaner to tidy up some places, and the attitude was also very good. The biggest advantage is that it is very close to the subway station, and it is not far from the railway station. Awesome! Everything was perfect in my stay with my family. I arrived in the evening and was looking for dining options only to realise they serve dinner in the hotel so it was convenient. However, they mostly had sea food options so you can talk to the waitress to advise on other options available. It's also close to shopping malls where you can get restaurants. Checking in was fast and they only required to copy my passport together with my family's and voila! The room was spacious enough and they provided toiletries for occupants. You can be provided with an extra key in case you need. The hotel has a nice theme park indoors for kids, quite convenient for families and also have a swimming pool. They also have a luggage storage service and the front desk are bilingual - speaking English. Overall all was well for the one day stay.

The most incredible service to date in 20years of China hotel stays. Extremely friendly staff, great English and attention to detail. 10/5 stars for service. Breakfast buffet also good. The only very small issue was the rooms didn’t have plugs on side of bed to charge phone. Lovely hotel, amazing service and highly recommended to others. To management just would politely suggest to and plugs on each side of bed so can charge phones, it’s not 1995 anymore and everyone has devices to charge.

The hotel is very nice. We are lucky to be upgraded to a suite with extra space. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to be picky, it’s not too close to the attractions of Suzhou. But with the excellent coverage of their online can order app, everywhere can be reached within 20mins under or around 20RMB, so it didn’t bother us too much. And just one thing, the live TV is weirdly with lagging as if the signals are from the internet. But if u don’t watch tv or do a smart device casting, it’s fine. (Just we were watching the French Open final so the picture lags were a bit disturbing lol) Overall it was very very nice :)

The room was clean and tidy, the service staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good! The hotel is right in front of the subway, and across the road is the shopping mall, which is convenient for traveling and eating! Most importantly, there is also a laundry service, which is great news for families with children!
