however there was no toilet paper in my room nor kleenex..make sure..you do not nickle and dime your cleaning crew as to be so stingy they forget.
imagine me coming down to the front desk to ask for toilet with a dirty touchhy"

Very Good
NNanianhynhThe room was very clean, especially the bed and mattress were super comfortable. The hotel is not big, but the service is very good, the facilities are complete, small and beautiful. I was worried about the Holiday Inn because I booked Marriott in Toronto a few days ago, but it is much better than Marriott. I couldn't sleep well in Marriott for three days because the bed was too soft and uncomfortable. The water in the shower is also quite big, and it feels like home and very warm. I highly recommend it
GGuest UserNice clean place, big room. We got a room on the second floor and farthest from reception and there is no elevator and with the indoor swimming pool on the lower floor that meant a lot of walking and climbing stairs.
Our units door was out of sorts, very difficult opening and shutting it.
it is 10 minutes ride from Blue mountain village where most the action is.
No restaurant of own, there is a restaurant Gustav in the building which gives a measly 10% discount after charging high prices . However no other nearby pocket friendly food options except at the blue mountain village
MManThe location is great, the centre of Collingwood, close to everything. The room was clean and bed is big. Free continent breakfast with cereal, bagel and sausages, standard quality. The only thing that may require improvement is the dental kit, the toothbrush is very poor quality.
RRick HardyAll fine, except in advance I asked for a earlier check in than 3:00pm. Was hoping to get in for 2:00pm. I got told on arrival no rooms ready yet.
Seems funny that since check out time is 11:00am at the latest, no rooms would be ready until 3:00pm.
Besides everyone does not wait to 11:am to check out out. Others trying to check in also told same thing.
I even did advance check in day prior on line like they asked for.
I was told check back in at 2:30pm maybe a room would be ready.
Maybe hotel has magic room cleaners who clean all rooms at once just before 3.00pm.
Does seem they are lacking in service help or bad system.
May not go back in future.
GGuest UserIt would be great if they become more flexible for guests who had to leave early due to important reasons such as leaving for an early flight or other out of control situations. We had a hard time requesting for just coffee or hot water from the breakfast area. We explained that we need to leave the hotel at 7am for an early exam. We were not expecting to avail the full breakfast tho since we didn’t have enough time. We only asked if it would be possible to have at least coffee or hot water at least 6:45am. The staff at the reception seemed hesitant to offer a solution and insisted there’s nothing he could do than to wait for the chef until he comes (before 7am). We wouldn’t ask for coffee at the breakfast area if only the coffee maker in the room was clean. Both of the rooms that we occupied had dirty coffee maker.
WWANLIThe hotel is in a small town. It is a short drive to McDonald's and other fast-food restaurants. The environment is good, the staff is very enthusiastic, and free hot chocolate milk is placed in the lobby. The room was clean and tidy, the only drawback was that the heater was a bit loud, there was no hot water kettle in the room, only a coffee maker, which was difficult for our Chinese stomach. Free parking outside the shop.
YYUDONGIt's good in a budget hotel, near the highway intersection on the edge of the city - convenient transportation and there are many large supermarkets next to it. I didn't expect the room to be quite big. During the epidemic, only breakfast was provided at the front desk. It is understandable that the room was not cleaned. After staying for three days, only myself will be able to keep it clean. The small city is still beautiful - the lake view is beautiful.
GGuest UserThe service was very friendly and quick. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The only thing was the people who had a room above us sounded like they were pacing the floors all the way through the night (4am!) , but that is not the hotels fault though.
Overall our stay was enjoyable.
