AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location in Ortigas, Pasig City, is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Mega Mall and The Podium, and if traffic isn't bad, it's only about a 30-minute drive to the airport. So, geographically, I was very satisfied.
However, there were some disappointing aspects regarding the service. It was difficult to reach housekeeping and reception by phone. Even though I booked for two people, there was only one pair of indoor slippers and one bathrobe, which was a bit of a letdown.
Especially at check-in, despite only two people being ahead of me and seeing more than five staff members, I still had to wait for almost 20 minutes. I was told they would call me when the room was ready, so I waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes. When no one called, I went back to reception only to find out the key was already prepared. Furthermore, the hotel facilities were supposed to include a bathtub, but I was assigned a room without one. It took nearly 30 minutes to get it changed. Thanks to this, I did get an upgrade from a queen to a king bed, but the slow response times, lack of amenities, and somewhat outdated facilities were undeniably disappointing. There was also a continuous thumping noise after 2 AM, and in the morning, I discovered it was due to construction in the adjacent room. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also an issue, with hair found in the bathtub.
On the brighter side, the breakfast was a neat Asian-style meal. Although the variety wasn't extensive, the taste was decent.
Given that I knew it wasn't a brand-new hotel before booking, I wasn't bothered by the older facilities. The unobstructed view and convenient access to nearby amenities and transportation were great, and I was very satisfied with the price. Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone looking for a good value-for-money trip.
