The location was the best thing about this hotel! The rooms were clean and good. The service was just a bit disappointing. Even before arriving, I couldn’t seem to contact anyone through email, website or social media. I had to resort to calling international to confirm airport pickup. I spoke to Claire who efficiently made it happen but no apologies for never replying to my mails, no warmth in her voice - it was a preview of service onsite. True enough, we got to the hotel - they checked us in efficiently but I do not feel welcomed. Breakfast was good except again for service. The supervisor seem to be always upset when I ask something like I asked where we can get water - with her voice raised pointed at the table and said “There!” I felt stupid for not knowing! I guess I am just not used to being treated like this in a hotel. Not sure if this is because they have difficulty in speaking English so it was hard to interact? or culture differences? Maybe I had too high expectations because of the reviews I read and everyone received amazing service. The service level is consistently cold and disappointing in the 5 days we stayed. I will not choose to stay in this hotel again.

The location is between two MRT stations (Zhongshan Elementary School and Minquan West Road). It takes about ten minutes to walk, so it's not too far. There are various convenience stores, Watsons (24 hours) and Shuangcheng Street Night Market downstairs, so you don't have to worry about running out of daily necessities or having a place to eat late night snacks. The cleanliness is average. There are cake crumbs left in different places in the room. You have to sort them out yourself, but it is generally comfortable. There were broken cakes on the benches in the lobby. It seems that some guests didn't clean them up after eating. The service is good. Every night when I go back to the hotel for late-night snacks at around 1 a.m., the staff will turn on the lights for me. Facilities: The TV was connected to another room for the last two days and AIRDROP could not be used. I was a little disappointed. The shower in the bathroom was very powerful, but the bathtub was too high and there was only one handrail that was not enough.

Service quality is great! The room is clean and comfortable, the service staff is enthusiastic, the staff service is excellent, the communication is barrier-free, the hot water in the room is stable and will not be hot and cold, and the transportation is convenient nearby.

I am a very demanding guest. This hotel is a bargain for the price. Especially they have a free transportation from airport to the hotel promotion. The room is contemporary and clean. It provides all the necessities. I am very pleased with my vegetarian meals. All of the requests were communicated through Line, and were responded promptly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel room and corridor are bright and clean. Room is spacious with mini sofa and good sized desk and double windows. Toilet and bathroom are exceptionally well maintained. If the room is not paved with carpet, it will be even more hygienic. The breakfast included in the room charge is value-for-money. I lived for 4 nights and found the breakfast included some new dishes everyday. Every staff was nice and helpful. Walking to nearest Metro Rapid Transit (MRT) is only around 6-8 minutes.

I was hesitating to book this place since it wasn’t central like other hostel but since all other hostels were full, I booked here. It’s hidden gem. Here are some points: Cleanliness is par capsules are really big, you can even keep your luggage very cool terrece as well a social place. best for work and socialise

Location was the better one with cheaper pricing. About 5 or 10mins walk from hotel to shuanglian. Reach the hotel, there was no one attending at the counter and was a self checkin machine. Easy checkin and you get the room card. Room was clean and tidy. Room size acceptable, can place 3 of my luggages. Big bath room, just that the water temp was either too hot or too cold. Have to toggle between the 2 shower heads. Initially i planned to deposit my luggage on the last day as i had a late flight that day. But there was no one attending to the counter. Theres a number to add in line app, so i chatted with the person. Was asked to place the luggage behind the counter at my own risk. Which i dont really like this idea. Should have stated in the website in the first place. I still left my luggage there for about 3 hrs, nothing was missing but initially i planned to pickup much later. But since no one was attending to my luggages i went back to collect early. Side note, this hotel is also open for short term stay for people to wish to 'stay' for a few hours. Overall, still clean and acceptable price. Other than, the luggage deposit portion.

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.
