Positives: - The team's service and attitude are consistently professional and courteous throughout my entire stay. Everyone was professional. No one came across rude, impatient, or defensive. They thanked me for choosing them and also took responsibility/ownership on things they did not do right the first time. - They took notes on things you said and requested with immediate response or within 24 hours if needed more time. - They practiced active listening, asked clarification questions to ensure what I needed/requested. - Excellent breakfast, full of variety. They kept standard items standard by providing them daily but also added some variety by changing 3-5 dishes. All foods are fresh and prepared on site. - Housekeeping service had great attitude and was efficient in cleaning throughout the entire stay. - They have an elevator. Most hotels in Taiwan have elevators. - They are happy to help moving your luggage upon request. - Excellent hot shower temperature and pressure - Amenities provided in the room is abundant with good quality - They are trustworthy in honoring pre-agreed upon check-in requirements. Before booking this hotel, I asked about the check-in requirements and what I felt comfortable providing and what not. They agreed and executed accordingly. I appreciate how their words and actions are consistent, which is very different from some hotels (Best Western always acted inconsistently, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels are spotty, some are good, and some are bad) in the US and Canada where they said/agreed one things and acted differently when I arrived at the front desk for check-in. Hotel services in Taiwan are generally much better in terms of service attitude and honoring their words. - Effective expectation management and communication - When raising issues, they took it with positive attitude: they always first owned it by providing a sincere apology, tried to solve it immediately. If they couldn't solve it right away, they asked for more time and provided a timeframe on when it would be solved. Throughout my stay, 50% of issues were solved immediately, and 50% were solved within 12 to 24 hours. No issues remained unresolved. - Common areas are always very clean and organized. Negatives: - Not always have people at the front desk to help open the heavy doors. Better to change it to auto-sliding doors. - The elevator carpet is gross and dirty: time to change it. There was a hair hidden underneath the hand towel on first day - raised the issue and they fixed it the next morning. Should not have missed at first place. - There was a dirty blue cup with watermarks all

I chose a room with separate bath. The bath is not a Western-style bath that you can lie in. It’s square shaped and about four feet wide and long. You can sit in it, but you can’t recline in it if this is something you’re looking for. The hotel offers an outstanding breakfast at the Tavernist. Breakfast here is easily more delicious than at more expensive hotels. Even the coffee was great. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet but the servings are perhaps even excessively generous. The hotel location is also very good. I wasn’t that familiar with Taipei when I booked but the location turned out to be convenient. It’s a few minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, which can take travelers to a few tourist spots, and about a twenty minute walk to Huashan Creative Park. There are Japanese-style department stores with restaurants in the basements and upper floors in addition to local cafes and restaurants.

Stayed for two nights. The facilities are really good and I feel very impressed. A down payment of NT$3,000 is required before moving in. I also understand this rule. Smokers should smoke outside. It’s a pity that NT$2,200 was deducted from the final payment. They said that the bags on the bedsheets have taken up the color and they cannot be washed and will be scrapped. Seriously. I understand and accept the deduction, but the price is also very expensive. I don’t understand. What’s hard to say is that the quilt itself is not entirely white. Twenty Wheels Da'an District Hotel This is the hotel I have been looking forward to staying in for a long time My first trip to Taiwan in three yearsI didn’t feel very good But I will go to Taiwan again next time and try other new hotels.

Totally love the hotel. From the lobby, it does not look so modern but when u step into the room, it's clean, modern and nice! Exactly like the pics. Some places do not even look like the pic. Highly recommended. Near alot of restaurants and it's near the main shopping area at zhong xiao road. Despite it not near to any train station, the bus is super convenient. Will come back again next time! :)

A neat little luxury hotel. I had a comfortable stay. As it is located next to the main road, it can be noisy. There were ambulance/fire engine sirens every night (4 nights consecutively). cafes and convenient stores are nearby.

The hotel itself pretty old. VERY HUMID!!! Smells like old water. Even tho they have dehumidifier, but still smells bad and u can see the water drops on the walls. March 20th was pretty cold, but the room after 6pm was 14C. Called on receptionist to help Me,they said they don’t have any heating system. If you plan to sleep and your windows facing the street- u won’t sleep. It’s some clubs and bars in the building so all night you will hear drama and woman yells and crying outside of the bars. Moreover very loud cars that wants to speed up and make that loud sound. Its fine for the money but I didn’t sleep well at all. Note it was Wednesday night and still loud people … Maybe they should clean the shower better because you can see the discoloration, didn’t want to take a shower there…

The place is very accessible. Perfect location for travelers.

Stayed at the Standard Double Room (2 adults). Overall, room was decent was fairly clean (we’re very particular with cleanliness and hygiene), staff was very nice & accommodating, cleaned our rooms when asked to, had the basic amenities, a lounge, and freebies, ie coffee capsule, softdrinks, water, tea, biscuit, gummy bears. Best things about this hotel are that it’s close to transportation, i.e. MRT, bus stops, convenience stores, like 7/11, Family Mart, where you can buy your “easy card” & even top up there, cafes, tea drinks, bars, restaurants, nice clothes shops. It would have been nice if the room were much cleaner, i.e. the corners were a little dusty (again this is coming from someone who’s very very particular about cleanliness) but all in all, had a good stay & would highly recommend! Very good deal and worth it too!

My wife enjoys the swimming pool and gym . The location is close to MRT and bus stations, very convenient. most of all, there are many delicious and not expense restaurant in the walking distance of the hotel.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.
