Hotels near National Palace Museum Exhibition Area II, Taipei

We stayed for 5 nights, a quiet hotel as what other comments mentioned, a nice hotel without many people, as it only got around 40 guest rooms. It has no nearby shops, other than an Italian restaurant (boulevard Café – quite a good restaurant) and a convenient store. We travelled all by taxi, around US12 each trip to and from city centre. To airport, dependent on which route the driver chose, we paid US48 to hotel, and US35. It was not too difficult to wait for taxi, the most was around 10 min. Wifi is fast but stopped for 10-15 min in 2-3 nights during our stay. Our room is not as big as 33 sq m as stated in the website, I think this is around 23 sq m, with 2 beds, a bath room and wardrobe, and a table, a table for the fridge and a cabinet. So there is no sofa in the room, one of us had to sit on the bed. The bath room is spacious with a bath tub. The design is a bit interesting, water easily splashed out making the whole floor wet even they got curtain. Breakfast was delicious and one has to order from the set menu, with quite a no of choices, Chinese and western style. The environment of the restaurant is good, the window is from floor to ceiling on one side of the restaurant, overlooking the road with green mountains in the far end, trees and moving cars outside of the restaurant. Staff was sufficient to take care of my request. There are also free self-serviced laundry, daily supply of fruits and 2 can of cold drinks / 2 bottled water. One can do hiking to nearby parks, but we failed to walk there, and ended up stopped in a restaurant that served chi food but with ponds that allow you to fish the Thai shrimps and baked / consume on the spot. This is a nice hotel and it gives you a different feeling that commercial hotel cannot provide to you.

Room: The theme of the room I stayed in was Fantasyland. The room decoration was very fashionable and had a romantic atmosphere. The equipment was complete and the maintenance was pretty good. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and the room was cleaned very clean. The room was also very quiet. Although you can occasionally hear the sound of wall collisions, the impact is not big. The bed is very big and it is very comfortable to sleep on. When you see the carousel, you can't help but pretend to be an Internet celebrity and take pictures. Overall, I am very satisfied and will look forward to staying again. Parking: There is a garage and parking is very convenient. There is an MRT station nearby. The transportation is very convenient and the functionality is good. Bathroom: The jacuzzi in the room is quite large, with colorful lights and a good atmosphere. Taking a bath is particularly relaxing. There is also a steam device in the shower room where you can enjoy sweating and promote smooth metabolism. Although the tap of the water is very obvious when the faucet is turned on, it is also very relaxing. It's within the acceptable range. The bath supplies prepared in addition are very carefully prepared and packaged with great care. They are very high-quality. Breakfast: I arrived late, but the service staff was very kind. Chinese and Western breakfast, a variety of meals, the meals were neatly and cleanly arranged, and the table was always kept tidy and tidy. I stayed in room 205. The light closest to the TV was malfunctioning and kept flickering. The bathroom door could not be locked. I hope the industry can take care of it in the future. There are a lot of ants on the table. There was a machine running in the room that sounded like it was coming from the ceiling. People who are sensitive to noise may want to consider this. Check-in time is very early, you can check in at 15:00. There are attached tea bags and a quick-boil pot, as well as a refrigerator for use. Overall, the CP value is high.

The room service forgot to prepare towels but the owner was quick to help us to get fresh towels over the intercom. Very near to Shilin Night Market while living in a quiet residential street which is pleasant

Because we rent a car and drive ourselves, and we are traveling as a family of three generations, we need to book two rooms. There are not many hotels in Taipei that can provide free parking and laundry rooms and meet the budget. Stayed for two nights. Recommended. The halls and rooms are clean and refreshing, well designed and brightly lit. The breakfast is not particularly rich but it is enough. It feels like the restaurant staff and floor cleaners are very hardworking. Except for a young man who was more enthusiastic, the front desk staff were ordinary. After checking out, I went to another hotel with a similar price range and found the Dandy Hotel to be more comfortable. This is a hotel you can stay in again.

Zhishan Pulu has a very good environment, close to the Abnormal Human Research Center (Internet cafe), close to the subway, and you can drink coffee at the counter. There are S0G0 Department Store and Daye Takashimaya Department Store nearby (there is a free shuttle bus from Zhishan Station), and there are many features nearby. Dining room! There is no merit in eating.

I love the hotel. I purposely booked the hotel as it’s near Shilin night market as I had a 19-hour layover and I wanted to go there. It’s 5 min walking distance, amenities are good, comfortable bed, big jacuzzi in the room. Breakfast was included. Professional stuffs. I’d love to come back again!

The hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

The location is good the room is clean the staff is very kind cheap place to stay near station access landmark in a minutes this hotel is not for sensitive/ richkid people if your looking for budget friendly hotel choose this thanks you city hotel.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.
