Location is great, you can walk from there to the city center, take the cable car to go to the beach. And the pool is fantastic.
The view from the room is stunning.
Parking is available but not really cheap (20€ a day).
Breakfast is a ‘continental’ one. I wish they included more typical Sicilian products on top of the international eggs and bacon. Also the toilets are extremely noisy, you’ll hear your neighbour flushing the toilet.
All in all a pleasant stay

Lovely hotel, and friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel has a great aspect with views of the sea .
Nice big room and bathroom and we sat on the terrace most mornings to enjoy a buffet breakfast .
Pool great and friendly pool and restaurant staff.
Location is within a 10 minute walk into Taormina and is really convenient for the coach station to the airport

This hotel is definitely not grand as it states in its name. The entrance into the hotel has been redesigned and modern ,but the rooms definitely need an upgrade. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, but the cleaner was lovely.I had booked a room with a balcony only to find that the is was a Juliette balcony that I could not sit out on. When I asked for a room that I had booked they said it would be €250 extra.The pool was out of order and when I asked if there was another hotel’s pool I was told to use the sea. To get to the sea you have to use the cable car which cost €10 per day, get on the bus or walk down the steps which takes 50minutes. I’ve stayed in 4 star hotels lots of times but this is definitely not a 4star establishment.

Hotel spettacolare sotto tutti i punti di vista : 1)personale super gentile e disponibile -da quello della reception (mi hanno anche lasciato la camera Fino alle 13)a quello colazione (signore gentilissime e dolcissime ) 2)pulizia ottima .(cambio giornaliero di asciugamani e anche carta igienica nuova ogni giorno )Non c’era un filo di polvere 3)colazione molto buona (il latte di mandorla e’una “chicca “da provare !) 4)posizione ottima (vicino al centro ,alla fermata autobus per spostarsi in tutta la Sicilia e al mare ) 5)visuale spettacolare (la mia stanza 906 aveva una visuale stupenda su Isola bella ) 6)stanze belle pulite,con parquet,balcone con sedie per prendere il sole o ammirare il mare ),bagno con doccia molto pulito ,arredamento classico ma non vecchio Insomma :tutto perfetto ,da sogno !ci tornerei volentieri anche domani e spero di riuscire a portare con me anche i miei genitori ai quali da tempo vorrei regalare una bella vacanza !

The attention of Gino and the receptionists in general was very good.
The disastrous breakfast has a man who is supposed to be the chef with terrible and reluctant treatment and the eggs are made like a three-year-old child or worse.

Our stay was very nice, hotel convenient but it needs to be kept cleaner. Hallways were not so clean, shower was in the bathtub so very inconvenient for older people. We were beneath the dining room, so chairs were being pulled out from tables making the room noisy. The breakfast was very satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just the hotel cannot be considered a “Grand” hotel. That era has passed

Hotel Miramare provides beautiful views of the coast of Taormina. Very close to sights, shopping and restaurants. The room was somewhat old-fashioned, but nice. However, there was a funny smell on the floor where we were staying.
