The hotel has a great location for walking the high road (shops) and great views from its terrace. Really nice breakfast also. My room on the 2nd floor had a little balcony with a chair and table which was lovely; view of Mt Etna. Maybe it's intended for those who smoke? (Maybe this is the way to get a balcony room - say you smoke?) The room itself was smokefree, and very clean. And, the air conditioning worked very well. The hotel has no pool, but it does provide a service for a fee that will pick you up, take you to a beach with chair and umbrella for a reasonable amount. I think this is a good option for non-resort type accommodations in Taormina.

All round a very good hotel made even better by the staff. From the start, the customer service team answered my emails promptly. All the reception staff were efficient and friendly as were the waiting staff on the rooftop terrace. Special praise for Miriam (and the breakfast team), Miriam delivered a complementary plate of fruit shortly after we arrived in our room with a lovely smile which greeted us every morning at breakfast. The offering at breakfast was the most comprehensive I've seen at a hotel, everything is thought of; fruit, meats, cheese, fresh bread, yoghurts, bacon, scrambled eggs etc. etc. Parking is restricted to a few place outside but the valet parking is very efficient. My only ****** is that our room (220) was in need of an upgrade. The fixtures and fittings are a bit dated and the shower over bath was the narrowest I have ever seen (I kid you not the bath was no more then 2 foot across!), meaning you were squished between the wall and the shower curtain which of course sticks to you as you shower. Be aware, Taormina is set on a mountain side so be prepared for a lot of steps. Eg, you can walk down to the Duomo via the hotel garden but will have to prepare yourself for the 148 steps back up to the hotel reception. Notwithstanding the above, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay here - our room had a true terrace, plus the common terrace at the upper floor has a beautiful view of the city. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve experienced on this trip around Sicily. A welcome stay close to the city but away from the busyness.

Checked in late February. Front desk was excellent. Street parking for 10€. Fantastic rooftop bar with amazing view. Room was clean & well maintained. (Shower was life changing lol) Breakfast buffet was standard Euro fare. Rooms situated below lobby. Garden exit puts you right on top of the main pedestrian street.
Can’t imagine in season with “White Lotus” effect!

It was a nice hotel but no coffee service in the room. It has a wonderful rooftop bar with an amazing view. Front desk person very nice but morning breakfast staff was too busy to be attentive.

the views are FANTASTICO!! staff is amazing the breakfast is well worth the 10 Euro charge
only issue is parking if you are driving. thereis NO street parking and you get a 29 Euro ticket there is public parkimg 300 meters or so down the road from the hotel ask the front desk

Great views, modern hotel. Terrace is very nice with its view of Etna and the sea. Easy access down to town, with a lot of stairs. I took points off for the shower and tour groups. It was very hard to stand in the narrow tub shower with rounded bottom. The tour groups took up all the tables in the breakfast area as soon as it opened. The server would not bring me a coffee when I sat in an easy chair in the breakfast area. Kept telling me " you wait". Was here last three days of April.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is rated as a 3 star hotel but it definitely deserves 4 or even 5 stars. All the staff at reception including Dario, Sabrina and Marya welcomed us warmly and were always available for everything we needed and with a smile too. Can't praise them all enough. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful and spotless just like all the hotel: very comfortable beds and pillows, great shower, heated towel rail, slippers, fluffy towels. I cannot fault anything in the room. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Italy. it included a mix of sweet and savoury dishes including eggs, bacon, cold cuts, a variety of salads including artichokes, marinated mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, sundried tomatoes etc. The cakes and mini kannoli the stuffing of which was separate were all very good. An endless array of fresh fruit was also available and the usual cereals, bread, yogurts etc. The breakfast staff were very helpful too and I must also mention Filippo, Jonathan , Enrico and all the others at the bar. The Etna and rest of Taormina view from the breakfast room and terrace is spectacular and one can just gaze in awe for ages. The garden provided a short cut to the Piazza Duomo in just three minutes. Thank you for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. I thoroughly recommend it.
