Exciting structure, adjacent to the main square of Taormina, in a very privileged position overlooking the wonderful sea!
Thanks to all the staff for the unforgettable experience. Just to name a few and without forgetting the others: Luca manager of the restaurant, Santino at the reception, Giuseppe on duty at the pool and the breakfast lady contributed to making our stay excellent.
Congratulations to everyone!!!

Dreadful service. Not a resident but called in for a late afternoon cocktail. Saw the bar on entering and a waiter chatting to a staff member behind the bar. Took a seat overlooking the bay. The small table in front was us was not clean A beer bottle, empty water bottle nuts, crisps. Looked really bad. After 15 minutes managed to attract the attention of a waiter from the restaurant who said he would get the bar man, which he did. The bar ban attended with cocktail menus, did not bother to clear the table. After another 10/15 minutes decided it was time to leave as the bar man never returned. Cocktails about 20-25 euro Wine bar the glass 18 euro upwards. London prices with sub standard service. Awful. The bar man was stood chatting to the same female staff member at the bar. 5 star hotel…,never

Excelente todo!!desde la atención,las vistas ,la limpieza y está muy bien ubicado.Podes ir a pie a todos los restaurants ,centro comercial,y si queres ir a comer un poco más lejos usas un taxi.muy recomendable.!!!Ambra y Amelia nos resolvieron e hicieron todas las reservaciones.

My two sons and partners called in to the hotel bar one evening after a delightful meal in one of the many Taormina restaurants. All 4 love to experience different cocktails at different establishments and this looked an appealing location. Unfortunately on entering they were met by a member of staff with a dismissive “drinks are €25 “ by way of greeting! Having apparently judged the two couples. My son ignored the rather rude welcome and proceeded towards the seating area. Having looked at the cocktails on offer and being appreciative of the views they were about to order with another member of staff. This person reluctantly came across and with obvious disdain started to take the order after receiving the first drink she then got distracted by another member of staff and walked off. My son’s decided enough was enough and left - the evening was recovered with cocktails at another establishment roof terrace. Being judgemental of guests is not a measure of exclusivity - shocking behaviour !

The location cannot be more perfect, service is excellent, and the views from the lobby, restaurant and breakfast area are breathtaking! I would definitely return!

The Hotel Metropole was terrific. Lovely rooms. Lovely staff. VERY central location. The trick is, however, that if you drive to Taormina things get... complicated. It is not a place for cars. If you stay at the Metropole, the entrance is on a walk street. So you MUST call them a few minutes before you arrive so they can greet you in the back on the edge of a cliff and then whisk your car away. It's kind of fun, actually, but it's not what people are used to.
