The location of the hotel is in the city center, and the surrounding area is very lively and convenient for travel. Maybe it's a rule. During the stay, passports are collected and placed in a cabinet behind the front desk. As far as the bedding is concerned, the window of our room is facing the square, which is very lively at night~

We were two nights in Pandora and felt well. The beds are soft, we found them very good. The bathroom has a marble chic. The nice receptionist was very helpful. He described the nearest stop from which to reach the centre in 10 minutes (for €0.4). We picked up at the baker just next to Croissants and Berek, he gave us dishes and coffee. Very nice. We also let wash clothes, which was very priced and quickly done. The area around the hotel is a little poor but harmless. We would book there immediately.

I have visited many countries, and in hotels of all kinds, and at some point I have had to ask for ”late checkout” or what is the same ”late checkout” because my flight back home leaves very late that day. In this case I paid almost €600 for practically 2 nights, it was 3 nights, but the first night I arrived at the airport at 2 in the morning, that is, practically 2 nights, when in Albania hotels are very cheap, but I preferred to grab a Known chain just in case, AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A LATE CHECKOUT OF 2h because my flight left at 18:50 in the afternoon, THEY TOLD ME NOOOO, when the hotel was newly opened and was practically empty!!!!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY VERY BAD, I HAD TO BE WALKING AROUND TIRANA AND EAT SUPER LATE, TO BE ABLE TO MAKE TIME UNTIL 4:00 PM when I went to the airport. I THINK I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL? NO!!!!, I THINK OF GOING BACK??? NO!!!!, not only because of this, but because it is far from the center, the hotel's Terra restaurant is very expensive, and look, almost nothing surprises me, but the difference in prices compared to the rest of the city surprised me very much. We ordered some mini Iberian pork chops and an Angus rib and 2 waters to eat, and they charged us €135, when in the ERA restaurant, which is 50 meters from the hotel, TripAdvisor recommends it, and it cost us an exquisite risotto, and 2 Angus T-bone steaks of 1,200 grams with a garnish of mushrooms and vegetables, plus bread, plus 2 waters, plus a Pepsi max, EYE €53, crazy!!!! And everything was very good, so the prices of the hotel are not justified. Is the hotel nice? Yes!!!, is it comfortable??? Yes!!!, it is practically new, it was opened recently, but that does not give the right to be charged 5 times more for eating in its facilities, it is 1 and a half km or more from Skanderbeg square and everything there is What to visit in the capital of Albania. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights wanting some peace and quiet after exploring the city and mountains. The hotel looks very nice when you ses it and the spa area was good . The rooftop bar was a nice place to have a drink however the food was poor and the service very slow . On two of our 3 nights we could here very loud music until gone 2am , we rang down to reception and eventually it stopped . The rooftop bar is very lively at night and I belive they had a function on . Beware If you want a good night's sleep you probably won't get it here . I did make a complaint but nothing was said or done .

We booked a room to ourselves so had separate toilet and shower. Nice room, although barely space to put stuff on but considering the price and location, still excellent value for money. Melissa and her sister (we'd assume she is your sister Melissa, so very sorry if we got it wrong) are very nice, Melissa answered our questions of how to get where and recommended a nice restaurant. No kettle in the room but downstairs kitchen is for shared use - you can borrow cutleries and mugs/glasses, just ensure they are returned promptly. I saw some residents using the cooker etc. to cook meals, but we didn't do that. Guess would be handy. Nowhere to hang up washing in our family room but again, you can borrow coat hangers and there is an airer in the garden, so all basic needs are sorted. All guests we had talked to were very friendly too. If anything during our stay that was a bit strange, may I just mention (politely), was the lady working at the breakfast, I did not get her name because we barely had any conversation with her (as we usually do naturally and pleasantly with other service staff, everywhere we visit), but from our first ever communication with her, we felt that she was not very approachable. We felt as if we were being scrutinised and the contact was just cold, with reflection, we couldn't think of anything that we had done wrong, and deemed ourselves good guests (like we already clean after ourselves and were always polite), and we did not eat a ridiculous amount of food compared to other guests we had observed (it's a breakfast buffet upon booking, right?), so we couldn't think of any reason why we felt the lady was not very willing to help us from our 1st morning in the kitchen (a big contrast to Melissa and her sister). Not sure if there was any miscommunication or simply personal bias, what bothered us more was the lady seemed a lot nicer to some other guests (and when I checked again the reviews, there were lots of nice mentions of the breakfast lady, which just made we feel even worse, though we were not sure if those were talking about the same lady), Anyway, I tried not to take it personal and we had no idea why it made us feel that way, but this was the only thing that made us feel uncomfortable during the stay, every thing else was very good, so overall, we should give a top score. It’s a new and Cosy hotel. Very Clean. The Personnel are Extremely Nice & Trying to help customers with their utmost possible ways. The good thing is that, you can see their Goodwill from their faces. For sure all the good attitude of the personnel is coming from the Manager of the hotel, Mr. Bulent Suzer. I saw all the time that he is taking care of all the details & and all the needs of the personnel also. And I saw that he kept the personnel with a very positive & happy mood all the time. Seeing his great efforts, the personnel are also trying to do their best to the customers. I want to Congratulate Mr. Suzer for his efforts & by keeping the personnel in such a positive mood. The receptionists, the housekeepers, the securities, the food&beverage people, the manager lady of the breakfast all were very nice. Definitely I will come back to this hotel.

Excellent structure, located in a very strategic and smart area. You sleep very well, perhaps the rooms could have an extra cabinet or table, but the soft choice isn't bad. Very technological and beautiful bathroom, the large shower was also very appreciated, finally a place where you can really adjust the air conditioning in an ergonomic and effective way. Very helpful staff, perhaps only the breakfast could be improved: it is held on the roof and on a scenographic level it is captivating, too bad it is not rich and that coffee at a surcharge of one euro is very out of place. The parking under the hotel is excellent, considering that there are continuous fines on the outside

As requested by receptionists I post the review- unfortunately it cannot be positive. We arrived on Thursday afternoon (SEP 8 2022). First of all we were disappointed by impolite service in the restaurant that we used twice- for the lunch and for the dinner. During the lunch we were served by the waitress (black pony-tailed hair) who was impolite, impatient and angry. She was confusing the price of house wine several times- once she was saying the price of 800 LEK, shortly after the price increased to 8000 LEK, then 800 LEK again and suddenly she showed her disapproval that we dare to ask of the price of house wine as ”it is so cheap as 80 EUR”. Maybe 80 EUR for the house wine is cheap for the well-paid waitress but we do not consider it to be adequate price. During the evening we were lucky not to be served by Her. Restaurant manager came, took the order and professionally delivered pastas and drinks we ordered. Then nightmare started again as angry, stressed and tired (the same) waitress came and stated that ”she does not know if / and what kind of/dessert is left and we can go to the other bar and ask them”. Seriously? You have desserts in the menu and when I ordered panna cotta and tiramisu I must go to different place to ask it it is still available? This is not a treatment I would expect in a cheap meat shop, not in an aspiring 4 star hotel. This situation forced me to write the review. Hotel itself is pathetic with urgent need of maintanence- in our room nr 101 shower hand holder was falling apart whenever I was trying to move it, fridge did not produce any cold, water did not drain from the bidet and shower gel was so small that was not enogh to take even one shower, for one person. Plenty of insects in the outside pool, water needs impovement too. There is plenty cheaper hotels literally a few steps away where price- quality ratio will be much more honest. And perhaps their staff will not treat the guests as intruders who dare to ask for the price of ”house wine that is that cheap as 80 EUR”. Atmosphere in Best Western Ark at Rinas Airport is dense and the staff treats the guests condescendingly. There are jumping around the people who come for a dinner well-dressed (pretending to be much posh than they really are) serving them free shots whereas ignoring the people who come in casual clothes and telling to go for the desserts elsewhere. It is really strange that from all the guests ordering from the same menu only some get special treatment, even free shots and the others are not even served properly. The staff should definitely improve English. For us Best Western proved again that they are below standards or their much better competitors.

The hotel was great. Close to the aiport, superb pool and restaurant. Amazing room, the staff were very helpful and even transferred me for my early flight. Having worked in the hospitality industry for 6 years I was immensely impressed by the professionalism and upgrade they offered me. I wish I had a chance to stay with them longer. 10/10 would recommend, well worth it!
