Best Places to Stay Near Asakusa Station in Tokyo

Rating: 5 stars Very new hotel. They just opened last January 16, 2024. We stayed 5 nights. Location is very nice. Less than 200m from the nearest exit of Asakusa Sta. Sensoji temple is less than 100m. Daily konbini is a few steps away. Amenities are found at the lobby. Unlimited coffee and tea as well. Toiletries are complete- toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton buds, shower cap, bath salt, hair tie, pajamas. You can request to change towels as needed. Although, they only clean your room after the 4th night. We just put our trash out daily by our door and by the time we get back, it is already clean. We got the Family tatami room. A very spacious 25sqm with 2 double beds and a tatami mat. There is a small table so you could eat your snacks there. The room was indeed very spacious because we could open all our 3 large luggages at the same time and still have space to walk around. The bathroom has a japanese toilet that is heated and has a bidet. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body wash are provided in the rooms. After a very tiring day, a hot bath with their bath salts is very nice. Will definitely stay here again. Room has combination Air conditioner and heater. Perfect for whatever season you go to Tokyo. What a fantastic location! It's incredibly easy to find and my room was very clean. The proximity to Asakusa's tourist area is unbeatable, and there's even a convenient store nearby. Despite being situated on the main road, it remains remarkably quiet at night. I would absolutely book again without hesitation in the future.

３ Month １ After the secondary examination of the Japan English examination, I took a full walk from my companion and Yushima Cathedral to the vicinity of Ueno. I took a taxi to the hotel because there was alcohol. I arrived immediately. The room we stayed in was very comfortable in a Japanese style eclectic style. The bathroom was also a brand new feeling and clean impression. I had breakfast in the hotel lounge, but I enjoyed the surrounding view such as Sky Tree and Sumida River. I often go to Tokyo alone, but it is a hotel that I want to use next time. I also recommended it to my friends because I walked to Asakusa Station ２ and ３ minutes to access it (especially in rainy weather).

　In the fall of ２０２０, this hotel ”Toyoko INN Asakusa Kuramae Ⅱ” opened in the east side of Kuramae station ２ minutes. The new Toyoko Inn is doing a ”thank you for your visit” campaign, so you can stay at a very good price. In addition, the ２０２０ year １０ month we visited was also doing the ”Go To campaign”, so it was a double and good price. We were able to stay very cheaply. The hotel is located １ minutes east of Kuramae station of the Asakusa line, so it is a location of ２ minutes on foot. It was open and the building was piccapica everywhere. There is a free breakfast buffet, but it is packed individually because it is in the corona vortex field, and it was possible to bring it back to the room.

Facilities: The room is really small, and there is basically no room to stand if you spread out a box, so you have to expect it when you make an appointment Service: Cleaning once every three days, the cycle is relatively long, but it seems that this is the rule in Tokyo, and the cleaning is still very clean Location: The location is very good. It is only a 100-meter walk from Exit 2 of Asakusa Station. It is very convenient to go to the subway

Stayed here for 2 nights from the opening day. This place is located very close to all the attractions in Asakusa, stations and shops. During our stay there, we went to Akihabara it was only a few stations away. The staffs were very friendly and helpful!! They even stored our luggages before check in and after check out so that we could stroll around Asakusa. Thank you so much:) Will definitely come back next time I visit Tokyo.

Hotel was easy accessible from Shinjuku station through an underpass. There’s a video from hotel website that shows how to get to hotel using the underpass. There are eateries/restaurants/Lawson/familymart in the hotel. Lobby looks nice and grand. However the room and toilet are kind of old fashioned. Luckily it was still quite clean. The laundry machine for washing and drying were separate. After wash you have to go and manually transferred to dryer :( and you can’t monitor the washing status through tv. 2 other hotels we stayed b4 have this service. The rooms and facilities needed an upgrade. Will not come back again.

Counter staff are friendly and can converse in English. Hotel room is small but since I am staying for one night only, it did not matter. Buffet breakfast is good and has a generous spread.

1) I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights with breakfast, and there were only 3 fixed selection items everyday. However, I felt a bit bored on the third day. If it can be changed to buffet or semi-buffet is much better, there will be more choices. 2) The toothbrush provided by the hotel has a very hard brush head, and the enamel on the teeth will be brushed off even with the slightest force. The gums will also bleed. And the tooth paste is difficult to squeeze out. There is also a smell in the bathroom, which requires tape water for more than 10 minutes before it subsides. 3) The electric kettle only ha a small capacity and cannot be reheated continuously. If you want to have cup noodles as a late night snack, you cannot handle 1 large, or even 2 small portions at the same time. Overall it's good. Clean with convenient transportation. It takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and 15-20 minutes to Tsukiji Market and Ginza.

we booked this hotel for 4 nights and there were 3 of us. our room was spacious enough and had a good view of the park in front of us. walking distance to lots of convenience stores and restaurants around the area and 2 train stations that connect to the main city directly. they also have their own lawson inside the hotel. lots of amenities and shuttle bus to the Disney parks and Narita airport.
