Sun Club El Dorado - All Inclusive

I Wish hadn't wasted my money best part of staying at this hotel was leaving!! I have never experienced anything like it. On arrival, you must pay a tourist tax per person you also have to pay for the plastic cup that you must carry around the facility otherwise you won't get a drink. the hotel is rough and facilities and rooms are smelly /mouldy/dirty and infested by flys, we moved rooms three times and gave up as they were all the same. They told us they had upgraded us and would give us the Wi-Fi for free. The Wi-Fi didn’t even work and for the upgrade our room was shocking the ceiling was chip bored we didn’t even have a smoke alarm. I didn’t even want to put the aircon on it looked like it was going to blow up it had loose wires hanging out of it. The cleaners didn't clean the room once they only made up the bed without changing the sheets and we had to ask for fresh towels and were told no, so we took them from the cleaner's trolley. This hotel should not offer All-inclusive options - the food is AWFUL! It was not eatable, the plates were dirty, the cutlery was filthy, but the hit was the Snack bar - a plate of “ham" and some plastic cheese, and bread wrapped in foil and was left out on the side all day. We paid for a taxi every day to go out to eat. Thank God for Uber Eats! I received a strongly worded warning letter about a noise complaint, we were not even in the room at the time, so I went to reception to ask what the letter was about and was told that it was sent to my bungalow by mistake, the list goes on and on everyone we spoke to was complaining

Would not go here again its disgusting, its little huts that are disgusting smell mouldy and bedding wet, also food was horrible no signs for whats in the food, was told no when i askes for a fried egg, tje pool area is dirty and drinks watered down, i would say its a 2 star more like a 0 star

We stayed in 197b villa 20th-27th September 2024. it was clean but VERY small. (not like the photographs at all). No kettle for a hot drink but okay .Food we thought was okay and had a good variety as my partner is very fussy, but there was always a choice of meat,fish,pasta,chips,salad etc. drinks were okay except for the Tea and Coffee, which was no good at all but there was a good section of soft juices, wines and beer on tap. Flies did become a bit of a nightmare and were all over the resort, not just in the restaurant. Most of the staff were friendly. It's a lot like Butlins in Majorca so don't expect anything too great as this is more like a complex of small chalets with very thin walls!!, rather that a hotel. We still had a great time and although there is no beach, we did take the bus to S'Arenal on a few occasions which had a great beach. For the price we paid for the holiday, it was great for a nice cheap relax in the sun.

Don’t stay here ! Room is dirty , had to change my own bedding due to hairs and dirty bedding ! food is bland and same every day , horrible taste , not to mention the checkout time wasn’t told to us and then they locked our room and forced us to pay 40 euros to get our bag back nearly making us late for our airport transfer.

So shocking staying here I was in a b room has they calk it no room at all had to put suitcases in the shower to move around shower leeks all into the bedroom bathroom so small u can't sit on the toilet properly the food was absolutely awful they gave u raw or cold food and wasn't interested when u complained the staff were rude when u complained about anything old people fell over the staff stood there and just watched whilst holiday makers had to help them the pools were freezing there is no beech u are literally miles away from anything only one shop that doesn't sell fags or hardly anything snack bar consist of bread ham and cheese the steps they say are down to the beech are broken the rails are unsafe and there isn't a beech down there after 400 steps down there I can go on but my advise belive the complimats because if u don't it will ruin your holiday and another note don't take children there is nothing there for them no food for them to eat I cane home 5 days early

Absolute dump!! Full of drunken ****** smashing lot up. Hotel don't care as they charge £300 for any damage . So.many people were fined. Food disgusting. Hotel from hell !! No beach access and dangerous!!! Staff miserable just don't go There's a reason its cheap.

We stayed in 140 villa 16 th Sept till 20th it was clean but small no kettle for a hot drink or a little fridge.room was small but ok .food was ok drinks were ok to. flies did become a bit of a nightmare the last few days .most of the staff were friendly except for one lady at reception with glasses and a brown bob who told us we was late checking out as we gave key in at 12.45 not 12 and we should know the rules as its international law 🤣 it's like butlins in majorca so don't expect anything to great and you will be ok .would I go again yes for a cheap break but not a weeks holiday.A few days was enough we also witnessed someone vomiting on the path about 22.oo whilst we was sat out one night but that's not the hotel fault

The photos shown must have been taken when it first opened years ago. The hotel looks nothing like them. Reception is tired and unwelcoming. Our room was just ok, bed was comfortable and clean, shower room was very tired. We had a microwave, fridge and sink (a mini kitchen) not asked for. Very very hilly, not suitable for people with even mild mobility. Pool areas are unkept. 1 dining area, food was limited and not great looking. Great views. Very noisy unless your 18-30years in the only entertainment area. Needs a very good makeover, it’s set in a big area, thankfully we had a car to explore the island and ate out at great restaurants.

Studio with sea view The hotel is rough, facilities and rooms are dirty. Cleaners do not clean the rooms only make up the bed without changing sheets so your floors are all sandy during your stay. The aircon is very old and they keep the remote with the handyman so you can not change temperature or increase fan speed so it's hot and hard to sleep. Food is not good, and not prepared well. I am not a fussy eater but it was hard to have a full plate there. There are flies everywhere, the restaurant is full of them and then when your room gets "cleaned" they leave the doors open and you have hundreds of flies at night. Everything is very old and tired, and not well maintained. We had no power for 2 nights, had to get ready in the dark on departure day. Asked for a cot twice and was never given one so my 2yr old had to sleep in the bed between us, but the mattress kept sliding apart. 2 things positive, mattress was comfortable and the sea views are good if you dont rake notice of the surrounds. We luckily had chosen to hire a car and went out every day and ate out most meal times, have not used the pools at all they are not inviting, water looks clean but not the surrounds. Our bedroom was missing a curtain so we had to improvise and pin up a bed sheet to make it a bit darker to get our little one to sleep. I have asked why we had missing curtain and they said it was all like that, however we could see other rooms with all curtains and no gaps. It is not value for money, its dirty and rough. I will not return. If we were not able to scape daily and if stuck on the hotel we would have the worst holiday here, majorca is a beautiful place so if you do stay here hire a car and explore because you will definitely regret your choice of staying at this hotel.
