We have been assigned to Room 67 under Mo Mo De Jia (默默的家)! How lucky to have such a helpful and kind owner and we truly felt the hospitality! We arrived at WuZhen at 1am (due to flight delay and long journey) and our owner still helped us with luggages in her sleepwear (we felt so sorry). Mrs owner always check on us and we felt like home. They prepared us delicious wholesome breakfast and also helped us in booking the following day's Morning Tea 早茶客 session. All the people there were so kind and one of my best experiences in China is the one in Wuzhen. The ancient town is so beautiful, enchanting and peaceful with kind people around us. Nice riverside view from our room too! Oh ya, the hair dryer in our room was awesome!

The hotel is situated around 7-10 mins walk from the Wuzhen Scenic West Gate. There are plenty of eateries around. The hotel is modern and clean, thus for those who are looking for a cleaner and comfortable place to stay instead of inside the old style scenic area, this is the place to be. However, there are two areas of improvements for the hotel. First being the variety of breakfast, it has a large spread but the items are the same if you are staying for 2 nights and having 2 consecutive breakfast. In addition, during the winter, the heater is turned on centrally thus guest unable to adjust the room temperature. At one point of the night, our room was as hot as 27.5 degrees Celsius even though the outside temperature is at zero degrees. Had to open the window to let some cool air in given that it became to hot and stuffy to sleep in.

Environment: A very romantic Jiangnan courtyard. The owner thoughtfully upgraded the room with a small balcony. The room layout also has a Jiangnan design style. The supplies are all disposable and clean. The bed is very comfortable. It is very close to Wuzhen West Gate, about 300 meters walk. If you stay here, you can stroll over to the scenic area. It is very cost-effective!

Hotel is located near to Dongzha (east gate) however it is not too far from Xizha (Westgate). The most scenic place in Xizha is approximately 2km away from this hotel. The hotel room is pretty clean and their receptionist are friendly. Upon check in, they gave us complimentary fruits and some amenities like toothbrush and slipper. Breakfast is a buffet style and pretty decent. We visited on November, the temperature is about 16 degree celcius outdoor, so hotel indoor including the room are releasing warm air. Called receptionist to check why our room is so hot, she told me that all the room is releasing warm air during winter. Overall is a pleasant stay!

The room facilities are too old, and the musty smell from the elevator corridor hits your face. Checking in was a bit frustrating, the first room smelled of cigarette smoke, and there were used towels thrown on the TV cabinet. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms. The front desk was very polite and upgraded the room type for free. The air conditioner is really terrible, the cold wind is very strong, and it blows and stops for a while, and it feels a bit hot, so it starts blowing very cold wind again, and the baby caught a cold in one night. Now I am still stuck in Tongxiang because my baby has colds and fevers repeatedly. Also, let’s talk about breakfast. There are few categories, especially the tall guy wearing a chef’s hat who cooks wontons and noodles. He has a very bad attitude. The first time I asked him for a bowl of wontons and noodles, he didn’t respond at all. He didn’t even know. Did you hear it? He said it again and he rolled his eyes. When he went to ask for the second bowl, he was leaning on the counter playing with his mobile phone. He asked for a bowl of wonton stew. He muttered and cursed and reluctantly put down the phone and started cooking wonton stew. The experience was terrible. Eating breakfast felt like begging for food. I regret that I chose the old brand New Century in the first place. I am not happy.

It's really good. The administrator has a good service attitude. The room is clean and sanitary. The price is reasonable. There is a swimming pool outside the first floor. I didn't bring a swimsuit or goggles, but I could buy them at the hotel at an online shopping price. We lived on the first floor and allowed pets to come. The small courtyard at the door was convenient for pets to urinate and defecate. It was really 100 points

The hotel is only 5 mins by walking to East gate of Wuzhen, many restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The hotel look very new with morden facilities, spacious room but do not have minibar. Highly recommend. If you are traveller and want to use free hotel wifi , they request for local phone number to receive code to access. I was impressive with the washlet toilet.

I feel it is pretty good. When I first entered the room, I was struck by the beautiful sunset outside the bay window. I quickly took a few photos to record it. If I checked in earlier, I could see a more beautiful sunset. I was a little worried about whether the roadside would be a bit noisy at first. When I came back from Xizha at night, I found that there were few cars near the hotel. It was not noisy at night. It was very quiet and I felt safe staying there.

My boyfriend and I both love this homestay. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Even though their rooms are near the road, but their windows are very insulated so the room is very quiet. The owners extra amount to help us whenever we need help or we ask a question they really take good care of us. The towels are exceptionally clean when we are staying there. We will recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a pleasant day in Wu Zhen.

I chose this Hanami Nishishe concept hotel for my May Day trip. The pictures on the Internet are different from the reality, but not too much [grin]. The hotel is one kilometer away from the No. 1 Tourist Service Center in the scenic area. This distance is not close. Fortunately, the hotel also provides shuttle services to the scenic area, which is a lot easier! The hygiene feels average, but it's acceptable. There is a breakfast shop on the first floor. The hotel does not include breakfast, so it's convenient to have breakfast. There are too many tourists in the scenic area during the May Day holiday. It's not an exaggeration to use the metaphor of a sea of people. I didn't even have the opportunity to take pictures. The hotel price has also doubled several times compared to usual. Wuzhen is beautiful. I want to go there again in the off-season if I have the chance. Wuzhen is waiting for me to see you next time.
