Had a two night stay at this B and B recently under new management. New owners warm and welcoming but I think are needing to try to catch their breath and look at some of the finer details of the establishment. I’m aware they are planning to do so. Parking available and close to the town which is a positive Breakfast was good, second day a little more generous . Room was tired and dark and could do with some updating Bed comfy ,clean bed linen but not pressed Wish the hosts success in the future

The host was welcoming, friendly and professional. The bedroom was simple but had all the facilities including hot chocolate sachets, which is a rarity. Bathroom was clean, however there was a whiff of urine around the toilet. Breakfast food was very good, however, it would have been better if we could have served ourselves with the cereal which we could have been eating while order being taken and waiting for breakfast meal. The choice of cereals was limited , a greater range would be better, same with the yoghurts and fruit. Self serve cereals, yogurt and fruit would give more time for the host to take food orders and could eat this rather than waiting for all the food at the same time.

We had a small but comfortable room with ensuite & a good shower. The breakfast is generous & good quality; the bacon was especially good. John & Sandra are delightful, friendly & helpful hosts. We were able to eat outside on the terrace which was lovely. Recommended.

A very pleasant 2 day stay here. Owners were very friendly and greeted me by name on arrival and at breakfast. Very accommodating, breakfast was a great selection, but if you have a full day ahead I would recommend the cooked breakfast. Located a 10 minute walk from the town and 15 to the river. Station is 10 minutes walk away. Car park outside and owners were happy for the car to be left for the duration of my stay.

Lovely comfortable room ,bed was comfy as were the pillows .Everything we needed for our 2 night stay.The breakfast was delicious and my sister in law and niece came and had breakfast with us which was really appreciated .I would recommend to anyone as very friendly atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble and my vegan niece was happy with her breakfast .

This is a fairly modern house about 10 minutes' walk from Totnes High Street. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. We were there in a very hot summer period and our room was delightfully cool, with our own front door, attractively designed inside with all the facilities we wanted. A highlight was the patio and garden behind, where we were able to eat breakfast each day. If the weather was cooler, breakfast would be in the conservatory overlooking the patio. Everything was cooked just as we wanted it, nothing too much trouble. On site parking.

John and Sandra were exceptionally gracious hosts who made us feel so welcome with a sumptuous breakfast and helpful local advice. To add to this, John provided a walking stick fashioned from local wood for me to use on our local walks! The room we had was also very convenient in that we did not have to lug our luggage up stairs.

John and Sandra are the nicest couple,so friendly and welcoming, room is spotlessly clean,had a bath with bubbles provided, breakfast done to order served by them both, highly recommend a stay here, nothing is too much trouble for them, such lovely accommodating hosts
