Our two day stay was disappointing-in booking the room, I did not realize it was for handicapped visitors but what was so odd the room was the last room down a long corridor-quite a distance from the main area. The hallway had an overpowering odor of fragrance wafting floral & Musk-i would rather had a fragrance of “clean” than a fragrance used to cover up.
The room appeared clean except the floor was sticky- included in the room was a king bed, desk & chair, tv/fridge/microwave/drawer area- the room had plenty of space for a small sofa or pair of upholstered chairs but only contained a decorative chair NOT appropriate for comfort or relaxation. Bathroom had a walk-in shower BUT toilet was not ADA compliant nor was there enough room for use because the sink cabinet over-extended into the toilet space-this would be difficult to use/ impossible for anyone in a wheelchair.
First night was typical noise for a hotel and morning breakfast fare was typical. Upon returning at 5pm, our room was not tended to by housekeepers-a “do not disturb” tag was placed on the outside hallway door handle of our room- inside our room was the tag that came with room-housekeeper prank to not have to take care rooms-management was informed and we were given fresh towels.
