Al regelmatig in dit hotel geweest met vrienden maar ik met gezin. Prachtig hotel mooie lobby heerlijke restaurants met ontbijt en diner Vriendelijk personeel mooi ruime kamers met fijne bedden. In januari voor het laatst geweest toen hadden wij een kamer waar je naar buiten moest eenmaal bij navraag toch een andere gekregen ( omdat we wilde zwemmen en mee badjas liever niet naar buiten wilde ) Erg behulpzaam Jacks ****** heel vlakbij ook geweest En een heerlijk zwembad !

De zwembad-suite was een uitstekend ervaring... tot om half 5 's nachts het schoonmaaksysteem van het zwembad aanging. Zonder aankondiging maakte het een enorm kabaal waardoor we rechtop in ons bed zaten. We hadden geen idee wat er aan de hand was, dus we waren enorm verbaasd. De dag erna zeiden ze bij de balie dat het inderdaad kan gebeuren. Nou, voortaan liever niet om half 5 's nachts. Enorm slecht geslapen, maar dat leek ze bij de balie niet zoveel uit te maken.

Groot hotel, veel wandelmeters als je kamer niet meteen vooraan is. Ruime kamer met airco, erg fijn. De menukaart was voldoende en het eten was erg lekker. Uitgebreid ontbijt, zoals dit bij alle van de Valk hotels is. Fijn zwembad, sauna en stoombad waren niet op temperatuur, wel jammer. Afgesloten fietsenstalling, erg mooie omgeving voor fietstochtjes. Alkmaar is een prachtstad.

Een invalide kamer voor 185 euro per nacht zonder ontbijt en een koffiemachine die kapot was 2 dagen moeten.wachten en toen wij weg gingen werd pas de koffiemachine vervangen omdat het hotel verhuurd was aan de Oekraïner. Prijs kwaliteit is heel slecht .

Wir waren Stammkunden in diesem Hotel, aber diesmal waren wir richtig schockiert. Flüchtlinge aus fernen Ländern werden im Hotel untergebracht. Sehr unangenehm !!!! Unser Zimmer war dreckig. Es war einfach ekelhaft. Leider mussten wir dort bleiben. Wir kommen nie wieder.

Toilet smerig Diner, mix grill droog en de worst vet en nat Ontbijt was niet van der Valk waardig, natte Salades en bvb geen zalm. Hotel zit vol met statushouders Mail geschreven naar Steve van der Valk... schrijft zelf niets terugm de receptie schrijft dat er niets aan de hand was NOOIT MEER

Koud en rauw eten (diner). Slechte koffie, cappuccino alleen schuim. Manager die er niets mee doet en één gratis drankje aanbied. Zeer slechte bedden. Veel te zachte kussens. Het licht van het koelkastje blijft branden. Functioneert dus niet.

Dreadful, I left clear.notes with the booking to say if this wasnt an actual double mattress then they must reject the booking because I cannot sleep in a single bed. And yes, this was 2 single beds barely pushed together, couldnt sleep either night as the beds kept separating and I would fall.on the floor, really disappointing and I expect a.refund based on 2.nights of no sleep and taking my booking when I expressly said I need a double mattress
