Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba

I arrive late at night and the kind staff made me a sandwich and a plate of food. My room was a corner suite with windows that looked out at the mountains. Everything was impeccably clean with lovely ambiance. The hotel offer walks around the property and I took the night hike and learned about the Incan legends of the night sky. They even have two llamas on the property!

Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a truly stunning property set in the heart of a peaceful and serene landscape. Surrounded by mountain views and the morning chorus of countless birds, it offers an authentic, colorful, and stylish design that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings. The cozy fireplace in the room was a wonderful touch, perfect for warming up at night, and the thoughtful addition of a hot water bottle made it even more comfortable. I took part in the twilight walk with Hiroshi, whose deep knowledge of the local ecosystem was impressive. He shared fascinating insights on the migration of local birds, the flora and fauna, and even the constellations, linking them to Inca culture and astronomy. The spa is a must-visit—a luxurious, beautifully designed space featuring a hot plunge pool and a variety of massage treatments to choose from. It’s the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration, offering a relaxing sanctuary. The surrounding region has so much to offer, and the hikes around the property are breathtaking. I wholeheartedly recommend Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba for anyone looking to relax, explore, and immerse themselves in nature.

This is a really good hotel in a lovely remote setting. Our room was large and comfortable, there is a nice bar and lovely public areas. The food in the restaurant is good quality and the staff are really friendly and attentive. I personally didn't like the fact that there wasn't a reception desk or area. Clearly this is deliberate but I found it strange to have to search for a member of staff when I had a query.

Discret and comfy luxury lodge at Inca's sacred valley. Excellet location, spacious room village, nice and sweet services, delicious cusine, fabulous tours and detailed ammenities. Highly recommended for international expensive tourists.

Stayed in an individual casita. It was very large with a nice bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. It is quite a hike up from the main building although they can get you close to the room with a golf cart. Walking up to the room after dinner was slightly unpleasant due to the altitude. The staff was kind but not always fluent in English. Food was good but not great. You’re isolated at the hotel with no options to walk into a town although this seems standard in the Sacred Valley

This place is amazing. Beautiful surrounding, incredible suites with outstanding views of the mountains and night sky filled with stars. Restaurant very good. Ate dinner there the first night which was nice. We did venture into the city via cab ride for local dinner. Ate at El Huacatay which was off the chart! The building itself and decor is not much to talk about but just wait until you get dinner. Had a Trout ceviche as an appetizer and loved it! Only cost us $25 US dollars for round trip and cab driver waited for us. All well worth it and enjoy your stay at the gorgeous hotel.
