Avid Hotel Toronto - Vaughan Southwest

Beautiful hotel in a great location.. Checking was swift. Breakfast was very good with the normal sausage, potatoes and bacon bits. Assorted tea and coffee all day all night. I will stay there again and will recommend this hotel to all.

Loved the hotel in general stayed with my sister and my 2 yr old .Place was clean and modern.They however don't have microwave or coffee machine in any of the rooms .You have to use the one diwn at reception .This Was a challenge warming baby food and tired mum.I wish I had considered that before booking .They did have those mini fridge .

Very clean nice pool very confortable i enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it and be back ands the price is right

Great new hotel!

All around a great hotel for business and/or pleasure. Clean, spacious rooms, lobby area. Coffee/tea available 24 hrs for guests. Good breakfast, wide variety to select from. Clean linen and towels. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Cheerful, safe and clean minimalist hotel that is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff is very helpful and pleasant, hotel is pristine clean, rooms are reasonable size and have a fridge (easy to overlook as it is built into the luggage station), medium-firm foam mattress with hypoallergenic bedding (I found the mattress to be very comfortable and I am picky about my mattresses), foam pillows (not a fan), a reasonable size bathroom with a great shower. The hotel has a very clean swimming pool and a decent gym for the size. I cannot comment on the breakfast because I had to leave very early on both mornings and chose to sleep longer vs catching breakfast. Please note that there are no cups/glasses or tea/coffee in the room but they are available 24H at the lobby. There is no restaurant at the hotel but the hotel is located 500m from Costco and 800m from pizzerria and several Indian restaurants. Yes, this Avid hotel is located in the industrial area but the area is not too bad (I and my car felt safe). The lack of the area shine is well compensated by the ample parking, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff and nice guest community. For me, the hotel will benefit from offering scent-free toiletries instead of strongly fragranced current Dove offerings. Also, if the room had an old fashioned hotel info book/leaflet it would be nice - apps and bar codes are great but really it is faster and less hassle to open a book to confirm hours for breakfast, gym and pool.
