Hotels near Europahaus Privat Park, Vienna

Mixed bag here. The hotel is walking distance to the Stadthalle, our main reason for booking. Lots of transport links around. Many Ubers and bolts, and about 30/40 minutes to the airport via taxi. Room size was adequate, with a mini fridge, which was unplugged with food and drink inside. It didn't really cool well, when we managed to plug it in. The beds were comfy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, but no milk. Room had electric blinds which were cool, and room was good and dark when the curtains were closed. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard, nothing special. But still good to start the day with. Rooms on the street side are very very noisy. The hotel is near a shopping mall, so deliveries 5am-10am every morning. Vehicles lloading, banging, noise, men shouting, doors slamming etc. But not really the hotel's fault. At night people smoke outside. So you can't really open windows overnight if you want a decent night's sleep. The room got very stuffy and no real aircon. The cleaning staff start very early, around 9am, so again prospect of good sleep is hit and miss, but they are very friendly and polite. Room generally clean, but there were hairs in the sink and shower. Also hairs on the supposedly clean towels. Staff mostly friendly and accommodating. However, the price of drinks seemed to change every round, (normally increasing). There was one member of staff who had the most appalling attitude. On our last night the shower flooded badly, into the hallway of our room. We couldn't shower or use the toilet. We phoned reception. The staff member claimed he didnt understand what bathroom is flooded means. After 5 attempts at explaining. He said he would send a colleague up. Surprise! Surprise! No one came. We needed sleep due to early flight the next day. We went down to reception, we were ignored, treated with contempt, eye rolls, and he told us he couldn't help, he said he was on his own. So sending someone was a LIE!? He was at the bar pouring drinks slowly, while looking at us blankly and rolling his eyes. He demanded we take a seat, no apologies, no offer of a solution. Basically appalling customer service and no communication. He was quick to check in guests that came to reception, inbetween pouring drinks deliberately slowly to avoid us. The only thing he said was he was on his own and there were no spare rooms. Eventually, he came to our room and saw the problem. With a bad attitude he did try to unblock the drain to no avail. We were lucky enough to have him mop up the floor and give us more towels, upon us asking, no offer. The staff in the morning when we checked out were apologetic when we told them, which we appreciated, and did make us nice coffee's to go. Unfortunately it doesn't take the bad taste away, and we had a poor night's sleep as a result of the stress. No one deserves contempt, utter rudeness and unhelpfulness as a paying guest, especially when we should have been resting, ready for flying

First time for me in a Hostel and these guys made sure my experience was memorable. They were very welcoming and always smiling. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The lounge area had a lot of chill spots, a pool table, a fussball table. At the bar I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail that was not on the menu and he was more than happy to do so. I really appreciated that! The metro station is right downstairs, and you have 5 stations to get to the city center, which is really helpful because in the center of the city are all the tourist attractions except Schonbrun. They have breakfast every morning and you can choose to pay 7 euros to eat. Or not. Not the best breakfast I've had but it does the job. Also, another con would be that there is no other piece of furniture in the room other then the beds. I found myself needing a chair or a small table lots of times. Overall an awesome stay! Would totally recommend! I will definitely come back!

Jazz In The City Hotel 28 February - 2 March 2023 Room 500 5 stars for its cleanliness and service! Location: We took the Vienna Airport Cab from the airport to the hotel. We paid Euro 37 (one way). It was very convenient. It took about 30 minutes. The driver drove carefully and was on time to fetch us at the airport. The hotel is accessible to the underground and shopping area. Reception: Excellent and very helpful! We were able to check in early and the room was already ready when we arrived. Room: Modern, fresh and very clean indeed! The bedsheets, pillow covers, towels and bed were all immaculately clean and dust free. It has all the amenities that you need. Our room was located in a quiet area. Bathroom/Toilet: Very clean indeed! Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! You can order sunny side up or omelette which is freshly cooked. Very clean and fresh breakfast area. Check out: Fast and effective! Recommendation: Why not paint the ceiling of the room white and paint the water pipes black? It will give a smooth, clean and fresh feel. Overall recommendation: Highly recommended:

We checked in on Wednesday night as a large tour group. The reception was lacking a few chairs but that was understandable since we were a large group. The hotel supervisor whose name which I later found out was Abdul was very rude. He forced our room assignments and made us sign a paper to agree to what he wants. He wanted to separate people from the same family group into different rooms which is not part of the initial agreement. He even went as far as to shout at our poor travel guide in front of other guests! We tried to talk to him calmly but he refused to lower his voice. We let him be after that. Some of the other staff even apologised to us for his behavior. That evening, he even barged into one of the families in our group's (a couple with 2 very young children's) room without knocking just to say to get out and that this as per his words ”was not their room” although he was the one who gave them their keys and wrote their name on the card itself! Almost like breaking and entering using the master key! The guests they double booked into the room even had to apologize to them themselves as it was very intense. We have tried to reach out the manager during our short stay of 2 days. When we finally talked to her, she said that she knows the attitude of her staff and he is not like that and refused to listen to anything we said! She was not there so she could not believe what we were saying. Unbelievable! We were very scared and tired as the whole stay we were scared anybody were to by barged in by that man and shouted at. The 2 kids were very traumatized and could not sleep after that evening. The rest of the hotel was very old and inconvenient to stay in. The bathtub is not suitable for the elderly as it is very narrow and high. And some molds have been growing out of the tiles. The breakfast was ok. But it was a very harrowing trip. Does NOT feel like a 4-star hotel at all. Please avoid this place for your own sakes.

We decided to bokk a self-service apartment for our one week stay in Vienna (partly because of the price/location ratio), but we soon came to regret it. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, well aware that the reception would be closed over the weekend, but we had not anticipated the problems we were going to experience. The hotel had promised to mail us final registration instructions three days before our arrival, but the mail did not arrive until after we had arrived, and because of the trouble in registration we did not find it until the next day! Consequently, we did not know how to open the front door to get in to the registration area, but fortunately another guest let us in. Then the nightmare began: We followed the instructions on the check-in computer, then we filled in the necessary information and managed to get as far as signing, only to receive the following message: ”Your room allotment can not be processed at this time. Please try again later.” This happened three times within the next hour. A friendly guest passing by helped us locarting the emergency service phone number, but after having tried that number three or four times without success (the call was aborted after a few seconds), we were on the verge of giving up. A final attempt was successful, and our German-speaking helper managed to explain our probleø to the help desk person. She tried her best to help us, for the better part of an hour, but without success. Finally, she said that she would call the security company, and they would be there to help us in 20 minutes. After half an hour, we decided that enough was enough, and we decided to check in to a nearby hotel for two nights (until the Smartments reception opened again on Monday), with the clear intention of presenting that hotel bill to Smartments. On Monday morning, we presented ourselves at the Smartments reception and demanded to speak to the manager, who was not present. A meeting was scheduled for the next day. This time, the receptionist helped us check in (not on the faulty computer!)m and we proceeded to our room, which was OK and about what we had expected, except that the coffee maker did not work and there were two non-functioning lamps. We also could not get into the supply room to get extra towels, because our key cards did not work on that door... On Tuesday morning, I had a meeting with the manager. He offered to reimburse us for the hotel costs we had incurred for the two nights we could not get in to Smartments, and to upgrade us for the rest of our stay to their highest category of room (one grade up from our original booking), at no cost to us. This we accepted. I did, however, not find his attitude particularly forthcoming. Being a former travel industry professional myself, I was not impressed by his way of handling the problem. For the rest of our stay, we encountered no further major problems, except that our key cards were still somewhat erratic and did not at all open the supply room doors.

The location is the best! Environment also very near to supermarket and transportation. Drinks, food, everything nearby and is so convenient. Even night time go back also very safety as the location is in the middle of city. 1 more things I like is to drink the refresher drink and snack provide from the hotel every morning before I leave the hotel.

Our stay was amazing—the room was fantastic with ample space and top-notch amenities. The hotel's buffet breakfast was a delightful experience, and the staff were genuinely kind. It's worth every penny, and I highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back!

Staying here now. A great location for touring the city. Metro station U1 (REDLINE) right outside hotel on the right and close to shopping area and museums, aquarium and street food/ market street. Kids friendly hotel (play room for little kids, not for 4 years old upwards). Staff not too friendly but I think this is due to busy period of the year & no time to carter to non-urgent matters. But if you manager to track down a staff & ask for help, it happens quickly. Clean lobby - water available for guest, coffee, tea, small lobby though, could run into people easily if crowded. Breakfast - good, clean, outside Terrence was open so good space. But a bit crowded by 8-9 am. Food variation, lots of different things and great for people who do not eat pork. Rooms -modern, clean, updated furniture. Pray it stays this way compare to past reviews 2019, 2020. Could be bit more dust-up; but hey its summer so open windows / dust is normal. TV very great size & distance from bed. Mini-bar / kitchen yay :-) kids were happy. Beds - very comfortable, sheets smells very clean, pillow- fluffy and smells clean fresh & new. No dirt under bed. I checked. Bathroom - oh I am surprised, cleaned , no mold on the bathroom tub, or shower area. I must say this was amazing. VERY CLEAN BATHROOM. Halls from Elevator - clean surprisingly no stains, no trash cans (thank goodness) and not smelling, it was very airy and spacious for tolling baggages back & forth. Elevator not dirty, mirrors / steel very clean. Windows big with lights, no balcony. Curtains very clean a bit dusty again. Overall I kept looking for something, but this time I have no major complain then perhaps friendier staff will be a bonus, but hey o one should stop your happiness. Where to start , well let's start at Check In, we have arrived at the Hotel around mid day which we were lucky to be provided with a room straight away, after taking our way into the room well.. The carpets are horrendously dirty to the point i had a walk around Vienna looking for flip flops just not to step bare feet on the carpet. At this point we have contacted the reception in hopes of getting an upgrade which we were willing to pay but got immediately shut down as they were at full capacity, the shower room was fine big walk in shower fairly modern and clean, big TV although do not be fooled it is not a smart TV if you phone does not have Screen Cast do not forget HDMI cable or you will be stuck watching German TV. The restaurant was only open for Breakfast they do not open for Dinner only upon request and availability, now this was a first for me.. Nevertheless we prefer to eat out always and Vienna has some Fabulous places where you can have a nice Dinner. Be careful as well when you wake up a bit later and have to come down to reception to ask for Housekeeping to come and tend your room as they will leave your room door wide open whilst you are parading around Vienna, this actually happened to us we requested them to go to the room to change the towels and nade our way to the center, once we cane back to the hotel after several hours we found our door wide open left by Housekeeping, next morning we made our way to the reception and made a complain as all our belongings where in the room and they would not take accountability if they were stolen, they only apologized and that was all not a voucher not an upgrade absolutely nothing, if you are looking for a Hotel were they dont care about you no good morning no good evening this is the place for you if not DO NOT STAY HERE. This is for the Doppio Hotel team please dont bother replying to my review and rather look into making changes when providing training to your team, people want to feel welcome and safe when staying abroad and you guys failed at both those points, seek out to Train and Develop your team because there is a long way for you guys to go. Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.
