The hotel is located in the heart of Vientiane, next to the Vientiane morning market, not far from the Arc de Triomphe and Vientiane night market. You can take bus No. 28 from the train station to a stop very close to the hotel, so you don't need to take a taxi. Although the hotel is not a luxury hotel, the hygiene is very good and free breakfast is provided. Staying in this hotel is definitely worth the money! In addition, the hotel owner is very nice and even personally sent me to the airport. Thank you.

I stayed here for three nights not long ago and I do recommend it. It's walkable to many of the interesting sites in Vientiane - Patuxay, Pra That Luang (if you don't mind a hot hike!), Talat Sao is just around the corner. You can walk down to the waterfront and arounf Frances NgumRd area in about 25-30 minutes. There is a rooftop pool to cool off in. The included breakfast is plentiful and the choice is good. The room I had was lovely. It was huge, with a balcony, large separate shower with bath and toilet in totally separate room off the main sleeping, living area. I had a large sofa at the foot of the bed. I think I must have been given an upgrade! It was very nice, thank you. The staff were very helpful and happy to offer advice. Plenty of tuktuks always at the door, should you need one. All in all, a very nice visit.

It was my first time going abroad, and I was very worried about the language barrier. But surprisingly, the people who came to pick me up at the airport were Chinese. The Laotians could understand what we said. There were Chinese restaurants, Chinese supermarkets, and vegetable markets nearby, which was very convenient. They also lent us their kitchen and used disposable face and bath towels, which was rare.
The hotel is novel and the breakfast is rich. My suggestion is that if you have any questions, the response time at the front desk is too long. I hope it can be improved. Everything else is very good. I will stay again next time!

It’s a great bang for your buck this hotel is! Communication is a breeze, and the free airport pickup and transfer to the railway station are just fantastic perks. I messaged them for a pickup as I landed super early, around 7:30 am, and guess what? The driver was already there waiting for me. Talk about service!
The room was spotless and really cozy—I slept like a baby during my stay. Since the hotel is pretty new, they’re still getting things up and running. For example, the free breakfast ran out quickly because of a big tour group. But no worries, Manager Chan was on it! He quickly whipped up some dumplings for the individual guests like me. How awesome is that?
The front desk staff might struggle a bit with English or Chinese, but they’re super eager to help. Google Translate can be a lifesaver here. The driver, on the other hand, speaks fluent Chinese. He even offered his WeChat, so you can chat with him in Mandarin easily.
One of my favorite spots was the lobby. Manager Chen often makes tea for himself and invites guests to join in. He’s so friendly and generous with his time. I learned so much about Laos and its culture just by chatting with him.
The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the city center and since it’s new, Google Maps isn’t quite up to date. This can make it a bit tricky for ride-hailing apps to find the place.
A few little extras like a hair dryer, a city map, and some tour information would be great additions for travelers. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay!

The hotel is not too far from the airport and also quite near to the Lao-China train station. But the shopping center nearby was quite localised...
The room is big and clean, with good facilities & nice shampoo & shower, but the phone didn't work & I couldn't contact the front desk.
The hotel restaurant is quite nice and the bbq food is good. There was supposed to be a gym, but it's not ready. The rooftop pool was also empty because it was so hot.
The staff speak Mandarin Chinese, so I could arrange separate transport to the railway station in the early morning.

Excellent
GGuest UserI decided to try this new hostel as a budget alternative. It is dormitory style, in a kind of mini-cube design, like Japanese hostels I have read about, but with curtains instead of secure doors.
On the plus side: Everything was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The plumbing all worked. The reception area is a nice coffee bar with good food, coffee and tea and good WiFi internet and a nice loop of current music by the original artists. There is also a 4th floor balcony to watch the sunrise.
On the minus side:
There were no power outlets in the reception area. (But there are two in each cubiicle.) The shower had no hooks or rack to hang a towel or clothes.
The cubicles have no secure door, just a curtain. (But there is a separate locker for each cubicle to secure luggage and valuables.) There was no hot water for coffee available early before 6:00 am. And the sleeping area was refrigirated to about 20 degrees C (but the comforter was nice and warm all night).
I might try it again, and I will definitely be back to enjoy the coffee.
ゲゲッツーロボVery nice hotel. A small swimming pool, nice room, but above all VERY friendly and nice staff! Never met such a good hotel staff! The people are just so nice and friendly! Only thing to be desired is that there are too many mosquitoes here, I got bit 10 times. Note: it's 40~70 US dollars at the spot so sometimes it's cheaper than online.
GGerasimburgI recently stayed at Vientiane BB Hostel and was very pleased with my experience. This is an ideal option for travelers looking for an affordable yet cozy and comfortable hostel in the heart of Laos' capital.
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile at the reception, quickly checked in, and shown all the necessary facilities. The staff speaks English, which is very convenient for international guests, and they are always ready to help with any questions, whether it’s advice on tours or assistance with transportation.
I stayed in a Deluxe room by myself, and I can say it was an excellent choice. The room was clean, spacious, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linens. The room had air conditioning, which is essential in a hot climate, and a small but convenient bathroom.
The hostel's breakfasts were also a highlight. Each day, you can choose between an omelet, fried eggs, and two toasts. Everything is served fresh and hot, making it a great way to start the day. Additionally, coffee and tea are available for free at any time of the day, which adds an extra level of comfort for guests.
The hostel also has a great common area where you can relax, use the stable Wi-Fi, or chat with other guests. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, creating a sense of warmth and hospitality.
Another major advantage is the hostel's location. It’s in the city center, within walking distance of Vientiane's main attractions, such as Patuxai and the Mekong River promenade. This made it easy for me to explore the city and its surroundings without needing transportation.
Overall, Vientiane BB Hostel offers an excellent combination of price and quality. This place is perfect for those looking for comfortable accommodation with great amenities at an affordable price. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who values comfort and coziness while traveling.
CChienshihyuanI have stayed in the best hotel with the best CP value when I came to Laowo. The hotel is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a swimming pool. It is opposite a convenience store and there is a SKY restaurant on the 9th floor. Overall, it is very good. 👌I give 100 points. 200 meters away from Chinatown.
GGordonBest hotel that we stayed at in Lao. It has been set up mainly for Chinese tourists and business people.
We enjoyed the accommodation that much we stayed 15days instead of the original 4 nights booking. The rooms where very well set up with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Toiletries, water, bath towels included hand towels and face washers. Found comfy gowens and slippers, even 2 gas masks???? That was a concern 😟.
The room was a good size with table and chairs, plus a nice comfy chair to relax.
The cleaning staff where very good and very friendly. The reception and security staff where very helpful and friendly.
TV was set up totally for Chinese visitors, only down fall. Would have been good to have satellite TV to include other guests. The pool was very good plus cleaned regularly.
The gym needs a total revamp. Equipment was old and not working.
General maintenance and cleaning of the rooms, hallways and entry was very good. A little bit of mould in the grout joints was the only thing, but not as bad as other accommodation that I've seen.. A good monthly clean would keep this problem under control.
The breakfast included was pretty boring, which was a shame.
Overall, I would highly recommend.
GGuest UserVery accommodating front desk staff. Amenities you won't find it better than Vientiane Luxury Hotel are: The Gym, the pool, and the room cleanliness. It could use a little improvement on the elevator video display. It would be nice if the music from the display is more traditional like Lao bamboo flute or traditional music. Also show case the gym and pool more. 9.2 out of 10.
DDamien DI stayed at the Aaron hotel twice in December 2019. What I like about this hotel: spacious room, huge bathroom, many toiletries, a lot of cabinets and drawers to store clothes, the Mekong river view, the fitness center. Everytime the staff helped us to park in front of the hotel as our car is to low to go down the parking lot. I stayed at many hotels in Vientiane and there is no hotel with such amenities at this price. The staff has been always friendly to me I cannot comment on their English as I converse with them in Lao. People complained about the breakfast but I stayed at Best Western Hotel next door and the breakfast was similar even if the room is twice the price of Aaron Hotel.
PPatcha.pThere are several power outlets but no power. But the employee brought a plug for me.
The plug frame is ready to come off whenever touched.
The water flows very gently. Just like other people's reviews are not wrong.
Door 402 means you can see right into the room.
The hinge between the door and the knob is ready to fall apart at any moment.
The best thing would be a bed. As for breakfast, I don't know because I rushed to the train station at 6:30 in the morning.
(Breakfast, the employee informed me that it starts at 8:30, very late. Seriously)
Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. But at 2:00 p.m., the staff just went up to check the room and refill the bar.
AAntoniusLocation is far from tourist attractions and local restaurant. It is like Chinatown which alot of Chinese restaurant. Not recommended for tourist that looking for local experience. Front Staff is helpful, friendly and informative except the housekeeping (they talked loudly in the corridor while cleaning and shouting) so noisy plus people slamming the door, couple fighting and shouting, construction noise. I can't even sleep well whole stay. Plus things is the amenity is complete, drinking water, comb, tooth brush, hair dryer , shampoo and shower gel.
