Calvary Hotel & Restaurant Vilnius
4.6/540 Reviews
We booked a Business Double room and it was great - huge bed, soft sheets and big pillows, nice bathroom. As this was our first Business room, I wasn't used to additional items like ear-plugs for better sleep, shoe-shine wipes etc. - awesome! Breakfast at the restaurant area was nice, I left filled with tasty food. If someone will ask me where to stay in Vilnius, I'll recommend this hotel!
Alexa Old Town

Very nice cozy hotel with a distinctive ”old” feeling to it. Located at walking distance from train and bus station as well as the nearby city centre. They do not offer breakfast which is not a problem due to the abundance of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Also they do not seem to have any receptionist but you can enter the hotel via a code provided by the staff prior to arrival. Highly recommended!
Ibis Styles Vilnius
4.3/515 Reviews
We stayed in Ibis Styles for a week in March 2022. Breakfast was decent with a mix of hot and cold food, the staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. However, the location of the hotel is not ideal if you want to visit city centre everyday. There are no zebra crossings on the main road so had to be very careful crossing the roads. Airport was close enough and supermarkets are only 7 mins by walk.
Hotel Panorama

We were on the 5th floor with great vistas of the city. Our room was warm and comfy and we enjoyed 2 nights there. We ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was very nice but it was a bit pricey so definitely cheaper to eat in town. It was very handy for breakfasts just being situated across from a world famous fast food outlet where we went each morning. The hotel was well situated for walking trips into the city which we did each day.
Ibis Vilnius Centre

The Ibis Centrum is located approximately 12 minutes walk from the old town over the river into the new quarter. It is on the opposite side of the city to the train and bus station. My advice would be either to get a cab (25 euros!!), Uber or bus to the hotel. The airport bus also has a stop close by. Check-in was quick, friendly and professional. My mobility assist room was located on the 4th floor. Their are two lifts and both were working. The room was large, light, modern and airy with standard ibis decor and fittings. A flat screen tv, hanging space, writing desk and air con, the double bed (2 x singles together) was extremely firm - too firm for me personally but others might prefer a hard bed. The shower room was extremely large and spotless clean. My only wish is that ibis provide a shelf in the shower area to put your shower paraphernalia on. Not easy having to constantly bend to the floor to pick up shampoo etc. On the ground floor of the hotel next to reception is a lounge area, children’s play area, bar and breakfast room (ibis kitchen). Breakfast is the standard ibis Fayre of hot and cold food. The croissants were particularly large and very good! I did use the ibis kitchen for a casual dinner. The pasta dish was fine. I would have liked more choice though. Note that the hotel does have an underground car park, and accepts well behaved dogs (supplement). Despite the poor wet weather? I enjoyed my stay at the ibis centrum. On a final note their was one particular member of staff I would like to commend. A blonde haired lady (sorry I did not get her name) who worked the ibis kitchen and bar was extremely helpful towards me. She offered to carry my breakfast tray (I use a walking stick) , and when ordering drinks (pot of tea for 2 euros is a bargain) she brought them personally to my table. She is a credit to the hotel. Thank you

I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel altogether - working with them has been by far one of the worst travel experiences. I had checked into the hotel a couple of weeks ago as a solo female traveler and was waiting to write this review based on the outcome I received from Expedia, which just arrived in my inbox. A few hours after I had checked in, I was leaving the hotel for dinner, when I was followed out (for an entire block) by a man who was very clearly a friend of the receptionist - I had left minutes prior, and he had run to catch up. He asked me if I was single and whether or not I was alone. I specifically told him that I was in Vilnius to celebrate a friend's birthday, to which his response was ”I was asking whether or not you were alone in this hotel, not if you were single.” When I said I was with someone in the hotel, his response was ”but whom?” This man was incredibly creepy, and I felt incredibly unsafe. I promptly contacted ******* to get my money back so that I could put it towards another hotel in the area, as I did not feel safe returning to the hotel where this man had 1) asked me on multiple occasions whether or not I was alone and 2) was friends with the receptionist, who knew I was alone. The hotel owner/manager refused to refund the money ”under any circumstance.” I would highly recommend staying at a hotel where the safety of the visitors is of paramount importance to the owners. There was no way I was going to stay there and put myself in danger, and I encourage you to do the same. There are also many hotels in the heart of Old Town that are marginally more expensive, but the staff genuinely cares about safety and the residents staying.
