Hotels near 2nd Battery Ruins, Wakayama

Directly connected to Wakayama Station. Because it was in front of the station, there was a CVS and so on. It was on the upper floor of ”Kino Wakayama” in the station building and dinner was done there. The building was clean and the bath was very comfortable with a view of the Kino River. There was also a menu with breakfast and it was delicious. However, it was a few dissatisfaction points that made the evaluation ”normal”. It is mainly a part of hospitality, not hard. First of all, I was guided to breakfast at check-in. Because it was a Bon Festival time, there was a paste that the breakfast time was early in the elevator, but it was guided at the front desk at the usual time. Under the corona, the locker of the bath was pulled out, but when the locker without the key was opened and asked the front desk whether it was possible to use it, it was answered that it did not get the point. When I used it for family ３ people and asked the front desk for breakfast tickets without a number of people and confirmed that it was okay and went to the breakfast venue, I was told that ”the breakfast ticket is not enough １ pieces”. I thought that the front desk was on the upper floor and it was surprising to go up to the upper floor once when I checked out. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. It seems that there is a chain hotel nationwide, but what about ... It is a hotel that does not come to the top of the choice.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is a 3-minute walk from Wakayama City Station. The facilities are relatively old, but compared to the age, the maintenance is pretty good. The staff are very enthusiastic and the breakfast is good.

The hotel waiters are very kind and constantly introduce the facilities and attractions. The room is large enough and clean and has all the facilities. The will is relatively dilapidated, and it is worth the money for a short stay. Recommended! 

It's so old that it feels unsafe to open the door with the key. The location of Wakayama Castle is very beautiful, but it is a bit far from the station and eating places. The bedding was mediocre and uncomfortable.

ホテルの真下が綺麗な海で潮騒の音が心地よい❗️ テラスのお風呂を三回も利用（笑）満天の星の深夜も夜明け太陽が登る早朝もサイコー❗️ ギリシャには訪れた事無いけど…ギリシャをイメージした建物に内装も食事も満足感あります。 今回、初めての利用ですが絶対、リピ有りです。 全国旅行支援を利用した旅でしたがホテル直接の予約でしたがワクチン3回接種証明を忘れて割引やクーポンはゲット出来なかったけど…其れでも大変コスパ良く同行の母親も喜んで親孝行できました！ スタッフの対応も素晴らしく室内も新築の様な手入れをされて清潔感あると思います。 料理は前菜のボリュームがあり過ぎて魚料理、肉料理が食べきれない。ちょっと年配の母親にはキツイと感じました。 ギリシャヨーグルトは流石に美味しい！ 大阪や京都、神戸の方には超オススメです。 でもギリシャ料理を堪能したので個人的には◎

It was small and there were few washrooms, but there were no other users and I was able to relax in a state of occupying one person. The room was clean and even in the double room, there was a space to spread the luggage, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It's a little far from JR Wakayama station. A little. I thought it was just a walk, but it didn't take long enough. The exterior of the red brick is a little tired, but the semi-double room has been beautifully renewed. Bathroom is old. There are old places here and there. The employees were also in a good mood. That's all there is for a luxury hotel, so... There is no problem with the amenities, and the con in the hotel The vinyl is a little lonely, but it's the bare minimum. I would like to use it again if there is an opportunity. Thank you very much.

Simple hotel but super convenient, close to JR train station and there are many eateries nearby. The hotel even includes a complimentary buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but just a nice touch to start your day. Room is proper and clean. Note that the train station nearby is JR Wakayama station and not Wakayama-shi (Wakayama city) station on the private train line. I made a mistake myself and had to get here by another train ride. This is a very pleasant town. If you have time, take the JR line to Kishi station (貴志駅) to see its famous cat manager Tama.

This is a well-facilitated hotel with very friendly and helpful room services delivered by the polite staff members. The hotel lobby is very clean with rich color of heritage and indigenous cultures. The nearby shopping and dining restaurants provide delicious and tasteful food. I would like to consume the hotel services again when returning to this wonderful town.
