Do NOT STAY, I called to cancel booking and the owner male manager was so rude on the phone. He cut me off and when I called back he was obnoxious and disgusting. I will also be making a formal complaint to motel association and doing a social media review too. This is not how hospitality should be. We will never get ahead in nz .. no stars!

Hospital directly across from property can be quite noisy

We had booked this hotel 2 weeks prior to my son having surgery. From the moment we arrived we were met straight away with arrogance and just plain rude male manager who did not welcome us at all. We had driven awhile and just wanted to get settled in. He then continued to demand a bond of $200 on the spot and showed us a paper (pointing and yelling at the paper) of the recent things that have been damaged in the rooms from previous people who have stayed. He kept shouting and pointing at us "you pay bond now" unprofessional management and highly rude we left and told him no thank you we will not be shouted at like that. We were so upset we had been met with this disgusting attitude and behaviour. We went down the road to the other hotel hoping they still had availability. Which they did. Please don't stay here especially when there is a much more pleasant hotel with lovely management and staff just down the road.

Owners are theft and will charge your card when you’ve never stayed! Never stayed or booked here and they charged my card $240 and refused to refund even though I’ve never contacted them. April the “manager” was completely condensending, rude and abusive.

Lovely room with very comfy bed, exceptionally clean & tidy. Very welcoming manager. Fantastic that we could leave our car here while having a procedure at the hospital. Value for money for sure. So it says I need a minimum 200 characters for my review. Is this enough now?

Facilities were okay. Room included couch and 2 chairs, dining table and 4 chairs. Well stocked kitchen with hot plate, microwave and good service of cutlery and crockery. Good supply of Tea, Coffee and Sugar bags. Supplied with milk on entry. Quality of furniture was basic and badly stained. Carpet was stained and needed a good commercial clean. Bathroom was higher quality with spa bath, shower (glass screen divider and open) and bench, basin hot and cold water. The condiments and hair dryer were good quality. Linen was well supplied, clean and readily available in bathroom, but bed covers in sleeping area was stained. TV was a challenge and to get the minimal Sky Chanels required an element of technical knowledge. Parking was adequate and available for the stay, but not assigned to accomodation unit. Reception was pleasant. We are reasonably knowledgeable users of this style of accomodation, having owned a 30 unit Motor Inn in a medium sized NZ city environment. This accomodation would be fringe at best. Its location makes it convenient for its proximity to Wellington Hospital and access to good quality eating places within walking distance. Its competition is probably similar and pricing comparative. Pricing was considered to be on the high side. Star grading if used is minus 3. Under a grading system to assess quality overall, 2 is generous.

I have stayed here previously, I booked again and the day of my stay the motel rang to say they double booked the room. And being a but stressed as I was ready to leave and go down the day this happened, said you better help me f$&king find something, he then started to call me a mother f$&ker several times and if I ever went to his motel he would kill me, as I said it was my bad first for swearing but this was over the top threatening. I've stayed there before but never again - Nikki
