Stone's Throw Guest House

An amazing little guest house, so friendly, clean and would do anything to make your stay an excellent one, close to all amenities I can't recommend this guest house enough, thanks you Nikki we really enjoyed our stay with you, Rach and Andy x

A spotlessly clean, lovely guest house. We were warmly welcomed by Nikki, and shown into our lovely room. A lovely idea having flasks of fresh milk and cake to help ourselves to. Breakfast was ordered in advance, and cooked fresh at our chosen time. Highly recommend this lovely place, and we will be back.

The pre book in communication was great just a simple text to ask an arrival time then when we arrived a really nice happy welcome on a rather grim July day.nikki couldn't have been a better host the room was well decorated and furnished including a fan which at some we've stayed has been absent.A fridge inside the front door for guests to use and fresh milk and cookies left daily.The breakfast was one of the best we've had at any hotel or guest house and a good choice.The room was Spotless the whole place so clean we've stayed opposite..I won't mention the name ..and that was terrible..a stones throw will now be our number 1 choice when we visit weymouth again..and the location couldn't have been better I normally drive but thought we'd get train instead..5 min walk from station..2 min walk to Seafront...a little gem of a place with the best host ..thank you 😊rob and deb

Came across this guest house by accident but boy are we glad to have found it, room’s are very clean and comfy with tea & coffee provided. Breakfast is amazing cooked to order with plenty of choice. Nikki always gives you a great welcome. Bonus is parking for 4 cars.

Great return to Stones Throw after a gap of 5 months. Perhaps not long for most but it was to us. We missed it as much as Weymouth. Our breaks start on arrival at Stones Throw with a warm welcome from Nikki. Amazing breakfasts and a lovely, comfortable room, our home from home. Much as we love Weymouth, staying at Stones Throw is the icing on the cake. P,s. the Dorset Apple cake is a treat!

Received a lovely welcome from Nikki This was our second visit with another planned in July. Location is great, seconds from the Sea front and added advantage of free parking. Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good mix of tea and coffee in the room along with a bottle of water all of which can be refilled. Breakfast Included and always tasty. A great place to stay if you're coming with your four legged friend Always feels comfortable and nothing seems to much trouble. As so many previous reviews have stated feels like a second home. Don't pass up the chance to watch the sunrise a great suggestion by Nikki.

We stayed here for three nights in May 2024 and booked a return visit before leaving. Everything about Stone's Throw was amazing. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean, welcoming and well equipped. Rituals toiletries was a lovely surprise. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before, it was well presented, top quality ingredients and plentiful. The hosting by Nikki and Pete was everything you would want and the little touches, like home made biscuits everyday was so thoughtful. The Guest House is situated a couple of minutes walk from the sea front, it is very quiet and Nikki provides many recommendations for eating, entertainment and places to visit. All in all ...... PERFECT.

Spotlessly clean,lovely room and fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough for you, plus a good choice of the fantastic breakfast…honestly couldn’t fault anything. Definitely going back again, only 2 min walk to the beach. Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay, a lovely warm welcome, Nikki and Pete are a lovely couple. The room was clean and comfortable with every detail thought of. Fresh milk always available for your cuppa. Homemade treats. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom and thick fluffy towels. Really comfortable bed too. Handy for the beach, the shops and the harbour. we loved it so much we immediately booked a return visit
