Whitehall Township Hotels with Airport pickup service

Over a weekend in September 2021, I was visiting the Whitehall/Montague area with a friend of mine and we stayed here on a Saturday night. (This was my second stay at this hotel; previously I'd stayed here 4 years ago.) We arrived at around 1:30 p.m. and were, fortunately, able to check in. (I was happy about that because it was prior to the official check-in time of 3 p.m.) Our room (#224) was all right. It was clean and comfortable enough... no problems and we slept okay. In general, I wasn't all that thrilled with my stay the second time around. There was nothing particular special about this hotel. I was disappointed that the hot tub in the pool area was out of order (I had been looking forward to using it). Also, I wasn't sure what was up with the business center computer in the lobby, but it was sitting in a dark little spot with no lighting. I tried using it to surf the Internet, but it was apparently not working. A typical Choice-hotel breakfast was being served in the morning, but I tend to be particular about hotel breakfasts, so we ended up not eating breakfast at the hotel. Basically, our stay was okay. It's nothing special at all, but the options for chain lodging in the Whitehall/Montague area are rather limited so this is probably the best chain hotel in the area. If I find, in the future, that I need lodging again in this area, and no nicer hotels open up nearby, I'd probably stay here again (I had no real problems), but nothing is really drawing me back to want to stay at this property again.

I saw the promotional pictures and I knew I wanted to stay here for the 2 days I was in town. The check in was quick and friendly. Room was huge,clean with a spectacular view of the marina and exterior door access to the surrounding deck right on the water. There was a large whirl pool tub in the living area that I did not attempt to use. Lighting was good, TV, microwave, sm refrig, 1 cup coffee maker. Tub and WC were separate, I-phone charging station on the night stand clock. Bed was comfortable. (I did not hear any noise from other guests.) Breakfast selection was minimal, coffee available in the lobby all day. Did not make use of the available WiFi. Negatives... no 110v accessible receptacles in the living room area for my laptop. no bath mat for the quite slippery bathtub floor, nor grab rails.

This is a clean hotel with a very friendly staff! Everyone we have had contact with has been very pleasant; from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the maintenance man we met in the elevator. We asked for and received a waterfront facing room and it's beautiful. It's pretty quiet for the most part. The one thing I wish was that there were screens on the sliding glass doors facing outside. It would be nice to have the doors open without getting bugs in. My final comment is from my husband. He said, ”If you do a Trip Advisor review, mention I love the big-man towels in the bathroom.” HAHA. I see what's important to him! I really nice place I hope we can stay at again, sometime.
