The Christman House is a landmark in Windham NY…This is our fourth visit during the summer. We have been here in the magnificent Fall season. We had a lovely suite in the main house. There was a king size bed, a sitting area and a great bathroom. Air conditioning , Wi-Fi a big screen TV and comfortable seating. The decor is quaint & rustic.

There’s something special about this beautiful little upstate resort tucked away in the town of Windham. My friends and I try to do at least one long weekend annually. The people there are courteous, kind, and warm. From the front desk to the pro shop you feel like you’re in good hands. The rooms are perfect for a nice little getaway and there’s plenty on the resort to give you something to do all day. A nice breakfast spread then off to the course. Play a great round of golf on a course that’s equal parts challenging, and stunning. The greens and fairways are pristine. The views are arresting. After that take a dip in the pool or grab a drink at the bar. Both are quite refreshing. The food is delicious and the staff are accommodating. Highly recommend the blueberry cake.

What a dump!! Our window wouldn't close. There was no water when we woke up on Sunday morning. This included the toilet! We paid for continental breakfast which was coffee and individual bagels wrapped in Saran wrap. Not the freshest.

Outdated, musty & dusty…stayed here in early September. The hotel is pretty from the outset, nice surroundings, cute reception & spacious bar, then upstairs to the bedrooms…let’s just say it’s like stepping into the 1920’s. Mouldy walls in the bedroom, dusty bedsheets with stains, carpet in the room was torn & not even joined in some places, curtains hanging off the poles, mould on the toilet seat when I lifted it up to use it for the first time. This is unacceptable for the price we paid to stay here. In the morning when I went to shower the water cut off mid shower & that was the end of that, we were due to stay 3 nights but checked out after 2. It was really really disappointing & I would not stay here again.
