L'hotel si trova vicinissimo al centro città con vista sul fiume. Possibilità di avere un parcheggio a pagamento. Disponibilità e cordialità dello staff. Pulito e accogliente oltre che silenzioso. Ampia sala per poter fare colazione o cenare.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The location was good and convenient for walking to many things in the town. We had a room on the second floor that looked out on the river and fortress with a wonderful view! The room and bathroom were both spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good and they made us custom cooked scrambled eggs. Their parking lot was across from the hotel.

Service außerordentlich freundlich und flexibel, Essen im besten Sinne gutbürgerlich. Fantastische Lage, Terrasse angenehm. Frühstück OK, Frühstücksraum etwas beengt. Hotelbereich und Zimmer könnten allerdings mehr Aufmerksamkeit vertragen und hätten eine Renovierung wirklich nötig.

We wilde onze boeking verplaatsen ivm hoog water op de rest van de route (romantische strasse) en dus onbereikbaar. We waren echter 1 dag te laat 6 dagen van te voren ipv de vereiste 7 dagen van te voren aangeven. Hotel wilde nergens aan meewerken en we moesten alles betalen. Vinden we heel erg kortzichtig. We gaan het in het najaar weer proberen de romantische te rijden maar nooit meer bij Walfish

Essen war vorzüglich, besonders Fisch. Die Kombination wie beim Sternekoch. Herrliche Terrasse am Fluss (Main) mit Blick auf Burg (Festung Marienberg) - schlichtweg traumhaft. Der Service war außerordentlich zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte insgesamt regional, experimentell und ehrlich.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und mit abgewetzten Möbeln. Der Teppich schmuddelig. Das TV lief nicht und wurde auch nicht in Ordnung gebracht. Kein Kosmetikeimer im Bad, Papierkorb ohne Hygienebeutel. Es wurde nicht gesäubert. Kein Kühlschrank, keine Stauräume. Nachts sehr laut durch alten Fahrstuhl, Wecker der Nachbarn überlaut. Frühstück war okay, musste aber zusätzlich bezahlt werden. Rezeption überfordert ...

Walfisch wie immer - zentrale Lage, ordentliche Zimmer, Parkplatz, was braucht man mehr? Allerdings nur Übernachtung ohne Frühstück, da wir doch gleich in der Stadt unterwegs sind und man da auch gut frühstücken kann...
