The service is super good. The boss contacted me one day in advance and told me how to get there. He always told us how to get there and how to make it convenient. It's very considerate. There is a swimming pool, which is super good, and a bathtub, which is super good. The air conditioner is very cool, and the bed is very soft, which is super good. I will come again next time! This hotel is in a beautiful location! Right across from the beach and not far from nice beach front shops and restaurants. The rooms are located in villas. The grounds are definitely worth walking around and having a look. The room was very clean and comfortable. Room types vary, some have bath tubs and/ or balconies, some do not. It is best to request what you would like to have in the room when checking in. I did wish the balconies all had chairs and table, I only saw that a few of them had some. There is an on site laundromat with dryers and a gym which is very convenient. Me and my friends requested the pool to be filled a few times but unfortunately by the time it was filled, we were checking out and could not use it. It is a shame because the pool area is really so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and tried to fix our issues and help our requests. We asked for more western styled food at the breakfast bar and they were able to help us with that the next morning. The staff is really great and helpful! I would book here again!

Not too sure why this hotel was rated as Top.3 of Xiamen, I found the amenities average. There are honestly better hotels which deserved the title such as Atour at Jimei Business Lake which I stayed last week. The room is not fully sound insulated, it can get quite noisy at night with families interactions. See picture there is hole in the pillow.

This hotel was great for a long layover as it is close to the airport. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and big. When we arrived, check in was very smooth and Zoey Zeng at the front desk was super helpful and even upgraded our room for free.

Mirror not wipe, bed sheets looks clean. staff service is good. Told them room air con seems like not working. They immediately get a portable one in. Hang the sign not to clean up the room, they still prepare a bag of toiletries and bottle water at the door. Good point not most hotel do. 👍 Have shops selling food til 12 mn around the hotel. Only not so good point is it's located quite a steep slope. Not very elderly friendly.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. Wonderful service staff - I want to give a special shout-out to Ms Yang (小杨）at front desk. It’s within 10 minutes walking distance to Gulangyu ferry terminal and metro station.

Excellent service. Location was a little far away from other things but great for the beach and the tour bus as a stop near by. Friendly check in, clean rooms and good quality room supplies such as towels and tooth brushes. My only dislike was the buffet breakfast. Lots of options but not much for my taste buds. This would be more of a preference, but good quality coffee and more fruit, milk and yogurt options would have had us become a daily breakfast goer. Overall highly recommend, a great get away

I think this Meihao is a relatively cost-effective hotel in Xiamen. Whether it is the sanitation of the room or the service at the front desk, it is very thoughtful and meticulous. I didn’t bring my ID card to do a temporary certificate. Xiaokai served us throughout the whole process. There is a detail. We left when we came back from the temporary ID card. Slow, because the front desk is alone, so went in, to the small door of the lobby, he took the initiative to open the door for us, really too gentle, just for Xiaokai to live next time.
