Advantages 1. It is very close to the Haicang Horse Racing venue, and you can also delay check-out until 2 o'clock. It is very friendly to the players.
Advantage 2. You can collect packages on your behalf, and Taobao can send them to the hotel without any problem.
Advantage 3. The lobby is very safe with security guards guarding it.
Disadvantages 1. There are five or six steps from the lobby on the first floor to the elevator entrance. Although there is a ramp next to it, luggage and strollers cannot go up. However, the security sister will be very enthusiastic to help. Give her another thumbs up; the other third floor exit At the elevator entrance, there is another step (as shown in the photo), and there is no ramp.
Disadvantage 2. The elevator is controlled and the delivery person cannot deliver the meal upstairs. He has to go down to the lobby to pick it up. This is very unfriendly to us with children.
Disadvantage 3. No refrigerator in the room😭😭

Very pleasantly surprised. Zhenzhen at the front desk was enthusiastic and patient. She upgraded the room for free and introduced the hotel facilities in detail. The hotel room was clean and smelled fresh. The bellman delivered the luggage directly to the room. The room service staff responded very quickly. The seafood buffet was fresh. The sea view room had a beautiful view. The bathtub was super large. The coffee in the room was delicious. Water was given daily. It was only a few minutes away from the pier. It was very convenient to go to Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road. In short, I was very satisfied. I have promoted it to my friends in WeChat Moments. Next time I come to Xiamen, it will be a designated hotel.

The room was very large and modern looking with a separate sofa and table that were useful when bringing back food. The bathroom was very clean with a separate shower. The window doesn't face outside but I didn't mind that factor. The hotel is near the road, and it costs around 20rmb to get to zhongshan road. The walls are thin so sometimes you can hear others coming back in the evening. The price is great for the size and quality you get. I enjoyed my stay here.

Hotel is well situated at the wharf with a few minutes away from many busses that are able to take you to the various attractions.
Front desk staff was friendly and helped where asked.
Room was clean and also cleaned every day.However the hotel needs some updates.
View of wharf was beautiful at night and it was a novelty to be able to enjoy the city and wharf skyline in its full glory while having a nice bath.
Did not take breakfast at the hotel and this would be my only negative point in that the eating area seemed to be dirty all the time.
Other than that it was a good experience.

The hotel I stayed in this time left a deep impression on me. First of all, I would like to praise the location of the hotel. It is located in the bustling area of the city center and has very convenient transportation. It can be easily reached whether by driving or taking public transportation.
The hotel's architectural style is modern and elegant, giving people a homely feel. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the reception staff are warm and thoughtful, making me feel the warmth of home as soon as I entered the hotel.
The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, with luxurious yet warm decoration. The bed was soft and comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are complete, clean and tidy, which allowed me to fully relax during the trip.

Though it is a dated hotel, the service and attudes of the staffs were great. Very personal service and they will make you feel very welcomed. Actually I stayed here on my birthday and they quickly noticed and the manager arranged a little cake and a card for me with a handwritten note. It meant a lot when I was away from my family
. The room I stayed was nice and quiet. Japanese restaurant was as great as when I visited here 20plus years ago. I was also watching concierges greeting people come in, there were genuine welcoming culture here. I will probably stay here again.

Very satisfied, the hotel has a good location, very close to Sunlight Rock, and you can reach Gangzai Beach by walking down the steps next to the hotel. What is most commendable is that the hotel owner is very thoughtful and specially made a short video on how to walk from the pier to the hotel. It is easy to find it by following the video. There is also an elevator in the hotel. Because there are not many people staying, the hotel owner helped to upgrade the room type, and also gave breakfast and a toiletries bag in the room. It is worth staying.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be.
The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view.
Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

The double room was too close to the elevator. I was afraid that our children would not be able to sleep well. The boss specially added two big bed rooms I bought two beds and gave Xiang Piaopiao to the children

JJwGreat location. A little noisy as the room was facing the back road and the toilet windows cannot be closed. Escalators didn't work all the time. Wifi works for foreigner as there's an alternative way to login with the room number. We did not want housekeeping so they left water outside our door everyday.

GGuest UserMy elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location.
When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness.
From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish.
The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street.
A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel.
There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel.
We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50.
I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
