I stayed at the Tianma Hotel during the National Day. Because I had to fly temporarily, I arrived at 10 o'clock. We planned to store our luggage and check in after traveling. The customer service found that there was a clean room and immediately arranged the check-in in advance. The room environment was very good, and the rich breakfast was definitely beyond the 4-star level. The taxi driver also kept praising the boss of Tianma for his good reputation in the service industry. It is indeed very cost-effective here.

The Marriott hotel in Yantai is one of the best hotels in Yantai. It has an incredible view of the ocean, and sits on the ocean boardwalk, making it very easy to go for morning runs or evening strolls. The hotel uses many light colors in its decorations so the hotel and the rooms feel open and bright. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable everything you would expect from a Marriott hotel . Unfortunately, the room was a bit cold. I had to wear long sleeves and a jacket in the room. Also, except for the amazing omelettes, the breakfast is lacking. But I have stayed at the Yantai Marriott in the past and will stay there again in the future.

The hotel is located right on the beach. Very beautiful. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms were nice but older furniture and carpets. There was only one electricity plug next to bed and it didn’t work. When we checked in and went to the room, the room keys wouldn’t work, so we had to go back down to the front desk, and they just assigned us to the room next door. The worst part was that the room was extremely warm, 28 Celsius! I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker to “look” at it. But the AC was broken. Instead of putting us in a different room with a working AC, the hotel brought a swamp cooler to our room. The swamp cooler was extremely loud, but it did cool the room down for the night. But the next day, the room was hot and we checked out early because we simply were not enjoying ourselves. We also wanted to order room service, but the hotel didn’t have the items in the menu available that we wanted :(. I ordered a hamburger, but it was gross. There are many nice hotels to stay at in Yantai. The Sheraton used to be one of them…

I took my children to Yantai for two days. I booked the room online in advance. The lobby was very bright. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff was very enthusiastic. Room was perfect, clean and silent (on upper floor, not too much traffic outside at night in this development zone). Very fast check-in, no problems at all as a foreign citizen. Got my breakfast as take-away as I had to leave early. Just a few minutes by taxi to the Western bus hub (to go to Penglai).

Second time staying at this hotel. Came back because it was so good last time. It's located in the Yantai Economic Development Area, so good access to Golden Beach area and many Korean restaurants. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Free guest laundry is a great bonus. Breakfast is good with wide choice. Hotel was very busy because of the national holiday but the kitchen staff did an AMAZING job keeping all the dishes refilled at breakfast. Coffe shop on the top floor is nice with lovely views. All in all, good value for money. Would stay here again.

Facilities: I booked a sea view room, and I can indeed see the sea. Just across the road is the Golden Beach, and my husband can go for a run when he gets up in the morning. This room type can watch the sea while soaking in the bath. There is a laundry room on the 6th floor, with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. It was the end of August when I came here, and the peak season has passed, so I can basically use the washing machine if I want to use it. The hotel also provides laundry detergent and disinfectant. It would be even better if the usage time can be extended to 10:30 in the evening. The decoration is relatively new, and the facilities are satisfactory. Hygiene: The toilet has a smart toilet cover, which is better. The room is cleaned by the aunt every day, and there are notes for us every day, reminding us of rain and other matters, which feels very warm. Service: Every day when we meet the hotel staff, we will greet each other. The cleaning aunt leaves a note every day and even leaves laundry detergent for us. We are used to washing clothes every day, so we asked the front desk for a drying rack to hang the dried clothes, and it was delivered to the room immediately. One day I was waiting for my husband to drive over at the door. On the last day of departure, the cleaning lady gave us a small gift bag containing milk, apple, mineral water and alcohol wipes for us. We forgot that there was a set of quick-drying running clothes in the laundry room dryer, so we contacted the front desk, and they found it for us and sent it back, hehe. Environment: The hotel is right next to the golden sand beach, only about 1.8 kilometers away from the big whale sculpture. You can take a walk to catch the sea every morning, and it is also great to take a walk in the evening to watch the sunset.
