一人で泊まったのですが一番よかったのは雰囲気、空気感です。心がとても和みました。
食事も生ビールもとても美味しくいただきました。お酒のレパートリーもよかったです。
施設も清潔に使いやすく工夫されていました。
宿のスタッフが非常に親切でした。
シャワーのみでお風呂はないのですが、歩いて4分くらいのところの日帰り温泉のサービス券とタオルのサービスで十分すぎると思いました。
スキーオフシーズンにワーケーションで訪れてもよいと思いました。
ただ、1点、4月だったのですが夜とても寒かったです。角部屋だったことやもともと寒がりということもありますが…
暖房設備や寝具などが充実しているともっとよいと思いました。
カフェ&バーの暖炉はとても暖かかったです。

A cozy guesthouse where you can enjoy skiing/snowboarding and hot springs. Visited with a friend. It is located 7 minutes on foot from the Tashiro Station of the Kagura Ski Resort (there is a bus stop to/from Echigo Yuzawa Station), and we were able to visit without using a car. The staff was very helpful & supportive in providing us with information on discounts on lift tickets, information about the courses on the slopes, information about local events, and bus times for the return trip. There is also a hot spring place called "Shukuba no Yu" within a few minutes' walk, which has very good spring water quality and is effective for recovery. It was a very nice point that the guesthouse gave us a free ticket to this hot spring place. The rooms were free of any insect damage when I visited, and the bed was comfortable and clean. It was also very nice to be able to enjoy Niigata's local sake until 10pm. (It was served in wine glasses :) ) I think that the guesthouse will update in many ways, with plans to open a cafe in the near future, and I hope to be back next season!

The facility is new and the bedrooms, shower rooms, and toilets are clean and well-maintained. The staff were kind and helpful. You can walk to the ski resort and enjoy skiing, and there is a bath nearby so you can warm up after skiing. I chose a plan that included rice, and the breakfast was delicious, with toast, soup, rice, and vegetables. Different types of side dishes were served every night, so I never got bored and it was delicious, and I ended up having seconds of rice. I would like to go again.
