The annex building is some distance from the front desk, and the front desk guy will help carry luggage to the room. For breakfast, you need to walk back to the restaurant next to the front desk.

I was so glad I booked the Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel. It is a 4-star boutique hotel in Zadar Old Town, Croatia, in a perfect location for visiting the sea organ, viewing sunsets or joining an excursion, in the historical core of Zadar. The breakfast was excellent in the lovely garden restaurant. Almayer is situated in two nice buildings - one across the square from the other. The buildings have been renovated in tasteful style. Staff were helpful and courteous. Coffee & tea making facilities near the rooms. Really enjoyed our time in Zadar and the hotel.

Looking for a city hotel with lots of comfort and adult only? This hotel in Zadar being the right one. Park your car and you are in the middle of the city no need for a ride. Walk around the restaurants, bar, sightseeing or bracing the sea at the promenade - all just a few minutes away. Restaurant of Almayer being one of the best in town, breakfast is amazing as well. Order the fresh orange juice and the yummy sweet stuff…

Verbleven hier twee nachten. Sliepen hier zeer goed, maar de algemen indruk is toch wel wat aan de mindere kant. Ontbijt was inbegrepen, doch voor een (zeer waterachtig smakend, aangelengd?) glas fruitsap moest je bijbetalen??? Begrijpe wie begrijpe kan. En tenslotte is dit een van de kleinste, onpractische en bekrompen badkamer die ik ooit in een hotel heb gezien. Als je in de douche stond, werd het toilet helemaal besproeid. Kwam je uit de douche, moest je eerst naast de wcpot gaan staan, om naast het kleine douche afschermglas uit te stappen.

The front desk was rude and dismissive. We stayed here only 1 night. I had emailed them to book 3 rooms that accommodates 3 people per room. Once we arrived, they said the 3 rooms were for 6 people and not 9. They made us pay an extra 80 euro PER ROOM even though the room category I got was for 3 people to a room. Had I known this, I would have booked a different hotel. It was just not worth it, especially given the fact that we were there less than 24 hours. Breakfast was included and it was good, but the customer service was awful. We had a van and parking was supposed to be included, but we ended up getting a parking ticket in which we had to pay when we returned the rental. It was just too many extra unnecessary costs.

Amazing place within the walls of the city, just blocks from just about every place to see and eat. Boutique hotel with amazing service, a great attached restaurant for breakfast, even towels to go swim in the water! It looks and feels relatively new and included all that was needed. We had a top floor room which included a split level room. The upstairs bed portion did get warm but there has been a heatwave.

Great location. Nice restaurant in the garden. The building itself its an old renovated tenement with tiny reception at the entrance. We had room for three people. It was clean and nicely decorated, the sofa in the living space was converted to double bed - we found the room too small for three, very little space left to move around, it looked bigger on the pictures. We had booked this place after reading all good reviews however we were a little dissappointed, we think it was overpriced for what we got.
